WHITE COLOUR DAY White colour day was celebrated on Wednesday, 21st October, 2020. All the students of Pre School & Pre Primary wore White colour outfits. ‘Show & Tell Activity’ was conducted on White Colour Objects of their choice. Students participated in ‘Cloud Making Activity’. These activities are helpful in enhancement of confidence and cognitive development of children. A Video on the topic of White colour was shown to students . All the students had fun and White colour recognition was done.
PINK COLOUR DAY Pink colour day was celebrated on Thursday, 17th September, 2020. All the students of Pre School & Pre Primary wore Pink colour outfits. ‘Show & Tell Activity’ was conducted on Pink Colour Objects of their choice. Students participated in ‘Flower Bouquet Making Activity’. These activities are helpful in enhancement of confidence and cognitive development of children. A Video on the topic of Pink colour was shown to students . All the students had fun and Pink colour recognition was done.
CROWN MAKING ACTIVITY Kids celebrated Dussehra with full joy and made beautiful crowns with paper and decorated it very beautifully. It helped in building their fine motor skills.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION Independence Day was celebrated with full joy and enthusiasm. A Fancy dress activity was held in the class. The students enacted as renowned freedom fighters and paid tribute to them. Kids made Tricolour paperfolding tulip flowers in their drawing files. It helped them in building fine motor skills and love for craft.
NUMBER HUNT VISUAL DISCRIMINATIONACTIVITY ACTIVITY This activity builds number recognition and also hones Visual discrimination activities include those related to your child's powers of observation. Your child will enjoy identifying opposites, sorting cards, doing puzzles, and ordering the challenge of looking for items around the house and blocks .Picking out an image or object that is not like the others feel a sense of accomplishment when he succeeds. in a group are also visual discrimination activities.
THINGS WE GET FROM PLANTS Plants provide us with food, fiber, shelter, medicine, and fuel. The basic food for all organisms is produced by green plants. In the process of making this craft ,kids will be able to learn the importance of plants.
SANTA MASK MAKING For the kids, the Santa Mask making activity was a fun way to celebrate Christmas. The mask was made using red sheet and small roll of cotton which brought a cheer to the Christmas season.
TRAFFIC LIGHT MAKING ACTIVITY Students participated in Traffic Light Making Activity and understood the significance of different colours in traffic light. These traffic lights prevents accidents and ensure people’s safety.
JANMASHTMI CELEBRATION Students participated in the celebration of Lord Krishna’s Birthday with great enthusiasm. The birth of lord Krishna depicts the significance of this Hindu festival. It helped students to learn about the divine power of lord Krishna and the main significance of Janmashtami is to encourage goodwill and to discourage bad will.
DIWALI CELEBRATION Students participated in the Toran Making activity on Diwali celebration and decorated their homes with the toran made by them. They learnt to participate festival’s activity and feeling of brotherhood . They learnt to celebrate eco friendly diwali and enjoyed
RHYME RECITATION ADDITION ACTIVITY The Students had participated in rhyme recitation The Students learnt addition by practicing on easily activities. It helped them to enhance their learning available material at their homes and understood the capacity and develop concentration. concept of addition by getting concrete experience
PAPER FOLDING Students participated in paper folding activities regularly . It helps in enhancing their cognitive skills as well as their creativity.
WINTER SEASON CRAFT ACTIVITY Students participated in cap making activity and learnt about winter season. Such type of activities always develop sense of relativity in students.
WORLD FOOD DAY ACTIVITY Students participated in Fruit Chat Making Activity on World Food day. This activity was helpful in teaching healthy food habits and making them capable of preparing something to eat .
FREEHAND DRAWING & COLOURING Students always practice freehand drawing and colouring . It gives them immense pleasure to showcase their imaginations on paper. This is also helpful in enhancement of their Art skill and improve their grip.
YELLOW COLOUR DAY Students wore yellow coloured outfits. ‘Show & Tell Activity’ was conducted on yellow Colour Objects of their choice. Students participated in ‘Honey Bee Making Activity’. These activities are helpful in enhancement of confidence and cognitive development of children. All students had fun and yellow colour recognition was done.
ORANGE COLOUR DAY Students wore Orange colour outfits. ‘Show & Tell Activity’ was conducted on Orange Colour Objects of their choice. Students participated in ‘Headband Making Activity’. These activities are helpful in enhancement of confidence and cognitive development of children. A Video on the theme of Orange colour was shown to students. All students had fun and Orange colour recognition was done.
PURPLE COLOUR DAY Students wore Purple colour outfits. ‘Show & Tell Activity’ was conducted on Purple Colour Objects of their choice. Students participated in ‘Colour Mixing and Thumb Printing Activity’. These activities are helpful in enhancement of confidence and cognitive development of children. Video on purple colour shown to students . All students had fun and Purple colour recognition was done.
CLACYLMAOYDEMLOLDINEGL L I N G Students regularly participate in clay modelling activities. It is loved by all kids and facilitates important life- skills like problem-solving skills, planning, exploring, evaluating and constructing shapes. Clay Modelling in small groups allows fun, communication, sharing and also improves social skills.
VAN MAHOTSAV The annual one-week tree planting festival in India is Van Mahotsav. It was initiated by Dr. Kanaiyalal Maneklal Munshi in 1950. The movement was initiated with the goal of raising awareness among individuals about planting trees and conserving forests. We have virtually commemorated Van Mahotsav week this year at Bal Bharati Public School, Indraprasth Yojna.
WORLD FOOD DAY Keeping the spirit high and to motivate students in this stay at home condition BBPSIP has organized a virtual mass activity for the students. On WORLD FOOD DAY.“Fireless Cooking Activity” was organized on 16thOctober for students from Preschool to Grade XI. Students prepared yummy lip smacking healthy snacks without fire. Like Fruit Chat, Sandwich, Indian Chaat , Squash, Shake Smoothies desert and Indian cuisine with fusion. They have also shared the nutritive value of the snacks which they have made in front of the class. “Good food basically that we have in our plate is a result of immense amount of hard work that is put at various stages…. Consume it with utmost respect….”
DUSSHERA We, at Bal Bharati Public School Indraprasth Yojna, believe that the children must be given the flavor of all the festivals and their significance as that keeps an individual rooted to his/her culture and traditions. A special assembly on Dussehra was organized virtually were students showcase their talent and enjoyed the festivity. There was an array of performances students performed Durga Stuti, Ram Katha and Significance of Head of Ravana was explained well in the form of PPT .Students of class IIIrd has performed various live dance on the occasion of Dussehra.
DIWALI On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, our school had organized a special assembly for Diwali celebration with cultural commemoration on, 12th November 2020 . Celebrations began with Gayatri mantra followed by melodious group song . The festival of lights came alive when the group dancers presented a mesmerizing performance adorning the stage. All the students were dressed in colorful traditional clothes. Enchanting of chaupais , mesmerizing dance performances, puppet show and presentation of goddess Laxmi, summarizing the epic, ’Ramayana’ was presented .
CHRISTMAS On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, our school had organized a special assembly for Christmas celebration with cultural commemoration on, 24th December 2020 . Celebrations began with prayer “ We shall over come” followed by tiny tots fancy dress on importance of different things related to Christmas. The festival came alive when the group dancers presented a mesmerizing performance adorning the stage. All the students were dressed in colorful clothes. A Hindi skit on birth of Jesus Christ was presented by the students with great confidence. Collaboratively, children also done English skit on spreading happiness’. The students showcased the spirit of Christmas through few mesmerizing dance performances and songs in Amalgamation. The virtual assembly was ended with a speech by the principal ma’am who expressed the importance of spreading happiness .
SPECTRUM SPECTRUM’ is a multi-dimensional show of individual talent and to give a child maximum exposure in the school. It gives an opportunity to the children to showcase their innate talents and abilities.In SPECTRUM 2020 various competitions were organized for students of Preschool to Class IX and students participated with all the enthusiasm and zeal and showcase their talent on virtual platform .This time our judges were not alone as audience also voted for their favorite contestants and rate them on the scale of 1 to 5 and final judgement was the average of judges scores and audience votings.
