CAM Virtual Classroom: Repurposing & Innovating Towards a Better Normal

Vision The Primary School Department is composed of highly engaged educators who develop students as responsible learners and God fearing individuals whose skills are nourished and strengthened through interactive learning. Mission Our mission is to prepare students to be confident learners equipped with needful skills for mastery of content-based curriculum. Using varied experiential and interactive teaching approach, we strive to stir an atmosphere of inquiry and wonder-making room for imaginative thinking in a positive learning environment with our parents and school community. 2

General Regulations  School and home are expected to work together in achieving our goals for our children.  Parents are encouraged to participate and support all school activities.  The Department joins school activities that require the active participation from the students: Online Flag Ceremony, Weekly Devotions, Club Meetings, Social Awareness Programs and Virtual Fieldtrips  Parents/guardians should check and acknowledge Circular letters in Brightspace and/or Email.

PSD Programs

Home Study Tasks Guidelines  Advisers will be giving a Weekly Home Study Schedule and Guide that will help students prioritize their tasks.  The weekly schedule in CAM: Virtual Classroom program will be composed of scheduled synchronous learning activities (On-Screen Class) and self-paced asynchronous activities (Home Study Tasks).  Half of the day (either in the morning or in the afternoon) will be devoted to synchronous learning with teachers while the other half will be freed up for independent, self-paced learning.

 Quizzes and Performance Tasks will be scheduled accordingly for students to allocate their study time effectively.

PSD Awards  Character Excellence Award – this award is given to students who consistently exhibited good behavior from 1st quarter to 4th quarter  Grit Award – this award is given to students for demonstrating consistent determination and perseverance in accomplishing academic tasks from 1st quarter to 4th quarter.
