THE FACTS • No united MBR grouping exists across the regions of Southern Africa with a single recognizable brand that can be contracted by Industry Roll players and the Public at large. • Industry Associations such as SAMBRA & CRA exists, to ensure that quality & standards are maintained. Due to the nature of their constitutions, as well as legal restraints (such as the Competition- & Consumer Acts) they are prevented from negotiating as a collective, regarding fair pricing of labour, parts & services. This lack of unity is a barrier to business success in the 21 century! • This confusing situation manifested in many negative effects such as manipulation, mistrust and fear. Division developed amongst MBR’s, and unity, which is a key factor for mutual success in the industry is being restrained. • The good news is that there are a multitude of successful and proudly independent MBR businesses across the face of Southern Africa.
