BIOLOGICAL PHYSICAL SELF SEXUAL SELF
Everyone goes through personal development, which can take the form of bodily changes or changes in sexual preferences, but the main point is that as we grow, there is a tiny variation at every instant of time. I was one of the people who experienced this; as I progressed through adolescence, I saw that my build remained the same, but that there was a large influx of hair that wasn't there before. I was angry because it caused me to believe that I was unattractive to others and that I was afraid of acquiring body odor as others do. Looking back, this transformation was a personal fight because I was always conscious of my looks and managed to appear decent to others. But I recognized the reality that it is an inevitable part of life; we should embrace it and be proud of our appearance, whatever it may be. Aside from that, as an adult, I've recognized that as we grow older, our sexual preferences and perceptions change. I discovered that we develop sexual preferences as we learn more about our sexual orientation. Going through different types of relationships within the years, I have known since then that I was attracted to women as all my past relations were with one. I didn't engage in any activities however heard from some of my peers about their stories. Listening to their encounters, what I picked up from that is protection is essential for it prevents any consequences that we don't want, pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease, understanding that we don't control our inclinations but are responsible for its outcomes. Acknowledging that we must be aware of the actions we take and practice safe sex.
CULTURAL- SOCIO-DIGITAL SELF SELF SOCIAL MATERIAL/ ECONOMIC SELF
My main takeaway from this topic is that the social self is more than just our relationships with others and how we interact with them; there are layers to this concept, and I've learned something new along the way. Primarily, I learnt that there are a variety of things that influence our ability to be social creatures, such as culture, belief, and environment. And these, in combination with the various systems with which we engage, define who we are and how others and ourselves view us. Apart from our physical ties with others, we also evaluate how we associate with others in our social selves, as this shows our genuine selves without boundaries and the capacity to remain anonymous. This power is too strong for those who utilize it solely for personal benefit, even if it means causing harm to others. We should also strive to have a constructive impact on the various social media platforms as members of the digital community. This study taught me that no matter what environment we are in, physical or digital, how we connect with others has a positive or bad impact, and it is our objective to be able to leave a positive mark and improve our relationships with others.
HUMAN MENTAL LEARNING COGNITION, MEMORY & INTELLIGENCE
Unlike the prior two sections, where the physical self was explored in terms of physical characteristics and interactions with others, the mental self is concerned with the mind. Cognition, memory, and intellect are some of the terms I took up from the classes. Cognition is the process of receiving knowledge through many means such as senses, experience, and thought. While memory refers to the mind's ability to store information obtained from experiences so that it can be retrieved when we feel we can apply it to a situation or event. Finally, intelligence is the ability to comprehend and learn as well as solve difficulties we confront, as well as the ability to apply what we have learned. This issue has made me realize that our mental self plays a huge impact in how we behave and act. It is critical to look after it because it aids our overall ability to work and do activities effectively. It's also important to remember that intelligence isn't confined to academics, and that everyone has their own set of skills. For example, while I may not be very bright academically, I am extremely resourceful, making use of everything in my environment to help me grow and develop, such as some of my father's books, which I read to help me grow and develop.
EMOTIONAL EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE EMOTIONAL REGULATION
The term \"emotional\" has a negative connotation because it is perceived as something that can obstruct or influence our decision-making by interfering with our ability to think clearly. However, based on the lessons taught, I have come to the conclusion that emotions, particularly emotional intelligence and emotion management, have certain benefits and are a factor that increases our self- esteem. Emotional intelligence is the ability to cope with and comprehend our emotions in a certain setting. And emotional regulation is the ability to control our emotions according to the circumstances. It is important to humans because, as social creatures, we connect with people, and by recognizing the appropriate emotions in response to the surroundings, we may avoid any conflicts that may arise. Furthermore, the capacity to manage our emotions during encounters is critical in order to avoid any misinterpretation with others or any behavior that might cause stress. Understanding emotional intelligence and being able to present this kind of trait can improve the self in terms of decision making and our behavior toward others, and it is a factor of the self that is on par with the other parts.
SPIRITUAL CDOISNCNOEVCETRINIIONNNGESRLWISFOIETU'HSLMNEAATNUINRGE
The spiritual self addresses the self that is apart from our physical form by focusing on our soul, our essence outside of the body. This topic illuminates our relationship with nature as well as our ultimate purpose in life. The self is characterized as a whole, with a physical and psychological aspect, where the physical refers to our physical appearance and how we present ourselves in the world, while psychology refers to our consciousness. This psychological self, often known as our inner soul, is on a quest to discover the purpose of existence and how we are linked to everything in our environment. These are related to why we exist, and connecting with nature is one way to demonstrate our existence.. With all the destruction happening to our environment, what we can do is to help address these problems while achieving our goal in life. We have different aims in life but when we do attain them , we feel a sense of life satisfaction as if we have no more heavy burdens to carry as our main goal is already accomplished. This is true to life as people only long for materialistic possessions to satisfy themselves but they must realize that to accomplish this feat, they must be able to see past through the physical things and focus on finding their true purpose in life.
