Passenger B737- announcement cabin 200 DOCNR. 2021002 On-ground Welcome announcement Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is …………. and I am the Purser on this flight. On behalf of Captain…….and this entire crew, I have the pleasure to welcome you on board of this Boeing 737 aircraft. This is the flight to…………and the flying time is …….. I kindly ask you to put the back of the seat in the upright position and stow your tray table and footrest if applicable. Please stow all your hand luggage under the seat in front of you or in the luggage bins above your head. Electronical devices need to be switched off completely whenever the seat belt sign is on. And please put your mobile devices into the fly mode during the entire flight. Laptops must be stowed away during taxiing, take-off and landing. This is a non-smoking flight and that includes our lavatories. All our lavatories are equipped with smoke detectors. Federal law prohibits tampering, destroying or disabling these smoke detectors. Flight safety demonstration Ladies and gentlemen, may we now have your attention please for our briefing concerning your safety on board. We kindly ask you to remove your headphones or earplugs. Seatbelt Please fasten your seatbelt now. My colleagues show you how to close the buckle, to tighten it and this is the way to open it again. Your seatbelt should be loosely fastened throughout the flight when you are seated and must be securely fastened whenever the seatbelt sign is ON. Emergency exits There are 6 emergency exits on board this aircraft, each clearly marked with the word EXIT: 2 exits in the rear of the aircraft, 2 exits above the wings, and 2 exits in the front of the aircraft Illuminated floor path markings will guide you to these exits. Now please look around to locate your nearest exit. And remember that the nearest usable exit may be behind you. In case of an evacuation leave all hand luggage on board. Oxygen Should the cabin pressure drop, oxygen masks will automatically drop from the panel above your head. Remain seated and pull a mask towards you. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, adjust the headband if necessary and breathe normally. Put on your own mask first before helping others. Life vest Your life vest is stowed in a pouch under your seat, and is used as follows: In the event of a landing on water, and only when instructed by the cabin crew, remove it from the pouch and place it over your head. Pass the strap around your waist and fasten it securely to the front. When leaving the aircraft, inflate your life vest by pulling the red toggles. If the life vest fails to inflate or you need more air, blow into these tubes. The light will switch on automatically when in contact with water.
Safety card You will find a safety card in the seat pocket in front of you showing all emergency exits and how they are opened. Please read the card carefully before take-off and landing, especially when you are seated next to an emergency exit. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for our final cabin check.
