9 SOFT SPACE 2020 PavilionDynamic skin The overriding concern in the design of the Malawian pavilion is to respond to the possible condition of Pretoria in Bsc Arch 2011 2020.In this case the design addresses the issue of poor water management, relating directly to Malawi in the sense that water is regarded as precious and an essential source of life. Water as material The intention of the design is to reflect possible future technologies and alternative materials that may address the aforementioned concern.The pavilion aims to exhibit the relationship that may exist between natural and artificial systems in the future, while creating a spatial experience educating individuals about the qualities of water and its value. 01
