How to get your relationship back on track When you’re in a long-term relationship, you may find yourself feeling disconnected from your partner. Feel like you have lost the spark. This idea that once we find “the one”, we settle down, maybe get married. Life becomes the happily ever after fairy tale with a happy ending we’ve heard about (due to our hours spent in front of Disney princess DVDs). Spoiler alert: WRONG. Sorry, it’s just not the way it works. This trope sets us up for failure.
