How Christmas is going to be different this year By Luzeli Photo by Julissa As we know this year covid hit and we had to get used to wearing masks, disinfecting our things, staying 6ft apart, etc. Holidays will look different this year. Most people on this time of year will be traveling to go see relatives, going to Christmas light shows, going Christmas shopping. Well covid cases have gone up, and many things got cancelled or they might have change some of the rules for safety. Like it might be virtual or we have to stay inside the car. It will be harder for people to travel this year because during the holidays people travel a lot but for people with long flights it must be hard wearing a mask for a long period of time and also for the people that have to take multiple flights. In conclusion Christmas is not going to be the same but we can still have a good christmas. Plus I think our mask will keep our faces warm this year. Luzeli P

The Worst Year 2020 By Cylin T. Oh man where do I start with this year. Well not everything bad happened this year. It all started in November 2019 when a few reported cases of COVID-19 in China. In December 2019 it was passing of rapper (aka) juice wrld by an overdose and hit the world by storm and began this act of people passing away. In January 2020 the world got hit with the news off Kobe (bean) Bryant unfortunately passing away in a helicopter crash which left the world shocked. Some people it just left a mark on how we lived for the rest of our life to make sure if i'm going to do anything do it at a 110%.

Two months later school was cancelled for the rest of the year and Covid-19 hit big time. The Coronavirus spread so fast that everything was shut down including Restaurants, Barbershops, Stores and Gyms. They did that untill they decided to just shutdown everything which is another reason why 2020 was so bad because my summer was so lame because i could't go outside to the park or to a swimming pool. But thats not the only that is going on. My grandma got cancer and she was sick for the entire year. Then as summer went by school came back on zoom which means I have to take half of my day to do school work online. Even through all that we still had George Floyd pass away and the riots and just a whole lot of other things going wrong. Although this year is bad, there is still room for impoving because 2021 is around the corner. Hopefully we have a better year.

My Meaning of Christmas Christmas is one of the most Merry important and cultural holidays Christmas of the year. But the question is BY FAVOUR OKOTIE what is the true meaning of Christmas? To me Christmas is celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Not every one likes the Christmas holiday and not every one celebrates the Christmas holiday because of their culture or where they are from. For me, it's really important to know the meaning of Christmas because it was the day Jesus Christ was born.
