• Read Jack's introduction. How many verbs in the present simple can you find? My name's Jack. I'm nineteen years old. I come from Manchester but I live in London. I'm a student and I go to London University. I have two brothers and a sister. I love football! I play every weekend.
The present tense is the base form of the verb: I work in London. But with the third person singular (she/he/it), we add –s, -es: She works in London.

Interrogative form
We use 'do' or 'does' before the subject to make the 'yes / no' question: Do I play tennis ? Do you play tennis ? Does he play tennis? Does she play tennis ? Does it play tennis? Do we play tennis? Do they play tennis ?
