ABOUT COFFEE Columbia Coffee MakerBODUM was founded in 1944 by Peter Bodum.Launching a new business during the warwasn’t easy, and jobs were scarce, but myfather sensed it was time to venture out on hisown. He was incredibly fortunate to be grantedan import license, and by the late 1940s he hadachieved great success. As he looked to growthe business, he found new interest in coffeemakers. FRENCH PRESSThe French Press Coffee Maker is the simplestof all brewing systems, where coarsely groundbeans meet hot water right off the boil. The righttemperature (92–96°C, 195–205°F) brings theoptimal extraction power for the essential oils inthe beans to develop their full flavor profile in justfour minutes. ABOUT CORK YOHKI Storage JarsBODUM has a new design line with cork. Oneof nature’s most beautiful and functional mate-rials. Cork comes from the bark of cork oakthat is a bit of a miracle in itself.
