Técnicas de estudio ORGANIZA Y PLANIFICA TU TIEMPO Para conseguir buenos resultados en los estudios es necesario que organices tus tareastanto en clase como en casa. EN CLASE v Escucha atentamente al profesor. Pregunta y aclara tus dudas. Sigue las explicaciones tomando apuntes, te ayudará a concentrarte. v Lleva siempre el material necesario. Prepara el material en casa, el día anterior, mirando en la agenda las asignaturas del horario del día siguiente. v Anota en la agenda los deberes diarios, los exámenes y los trabajos encargados por tus profesores. EN CASA v Haz los deberes el mismo día que te los pongan (recordarás mejor lo explicado en clase), de este modo nunca olvidarás hacerlos. v Resérvate cada día dos o tres horas para tus estudios: o Hacer los deberes marcados en la agenda o Poner al día los cuadernos de clase, completar ejercicios, pasar a limpio los apuntes,... o Repasa especialmente aquellas asignaturas que más te cuesten o Haz resúmenes y esquemas. Al ponerte a estudiar, hazlo siempre ayudándote de un lápiz y papel para aclarar las ideas. o En épocas en las que tengas menos trabajo aprovecha para leer algún libro. o Planifica durante el fin de semana el trabajo de los próximos días, especialmente si tienes algún examen o debes entregar algún trabajo. o Si realizas otras actividades por la tarde (música, fútbol), tendrás que tenerlo en cuenta para planificar tus estudios los días restantes. EFICACIA EN EL ESTUDIO El aprendizaje es una actividad compleja y activa, por ello el estudio no es una tarea quepueda hacerse sin esfuerzo escuchando pasivamente al profesor. El estudiante eficaz debe proponerse metas. Nosotros te vamos a plantear cinco objetivos que pueden serte muy útiles si quieres mejorar tu eficacia en el estudio: v ¿Qué y cómo debes hacerlo? Ante cada tarea debes tener muy claro esto. ¿Qué te han encargado los profesores? ¿Cómo quieren que lo hagas? Si no sabes contestar con claridad a estas dos preguntas perderás mucho tiempo y esfuerzo. - 134 -

v Selecciona la información que deseas aprender. Cuando tengas claro lo anterior te resultará fácil seleccionar lo que quieres estudiar y concentrarte en ello. v Comprende lo que estudias. Todo lo que estudias debe tener un significado claro para ti. Debes ser capaz de relacionarlo con el conjunto de lo que estás estudiando. v Expresa claramente lo que has aprendido. Debes ensayar en voz alta los conceptos e ideas adquiridas hasta que la explicación sea clara y concreta. v Crear ambiente de estudio. Debes conseguir crear a tu alrededor y en ti mismo un ambiente que facilite la motivación por el estudio y la concentración. Esta meta debe estar presente durante toda tu vida de estudiante. Tu familia puede ser muy impor- tante para que tú lo logres. MEJORA TU RENDIMIENTO. PLANIFICACIÓN Las técnicas de estudio pueden ayudarte a mejorar tu rendimiento, sin embargo noservirían de nada sin tu esfuerzo y sin el tiempo suficiente para reflexionar sobre los temasque intentas aprender. Te proponemos los siguiente pasos para estudiar cualquier materia: 1o LECTURA RÁPIDA: Se trata de hacerse una idea global del texto o tarea a realizar. 2o LECTURA COMPRENSIVA: En esta fase tienes que tratar de comprender el significado de lo que estudias. Párate todo lo que necesites hasta comprender, entender, relacionar y situar lo que estás estudiando. 3o SUBRAYADO: Subrayar consiste en marcar con líneas debajo de palabras o frases, remarcar con un rotulador \"fluorescente\", encuadrar, encerrar en círculos, etc. Es una técnica muy útil pero siempre se debe subrayar después de haber hecho la lectura comprensiva, de esta forma podrás seleccionar lo fundamental. Si subrayas sin tener una idea clara de lo que estás estudiando, sólo te servirá para emborronar y confun- dirte. En definitiva, no lo subrayes todo, tampoco te quedes en nada. Fija tu atención en el textoestudiado y destaca con el subrayado las ideas fundamentales o los datos de más interés. Si haces un buen subrayado te permitirá: - Fijar tu atención en lo más importante cada vez que vuelvas a leer el texto. - Profundizar en el estudio con esquemas y resúmenes. 4o EL ESQUEMA: Es la representación gráfica del tema que has estudiado. Para hacer un buen esquema debes seguir los siguientes pasos: - Tienes que partir del subrayado, es decir, de las ideas fundamentales. No se trata de copiar el subrayado, sino de hacer un gráfico con esas ideas. - Intenta organizar lo que has aprendido - Utiliza exclusivamente palabras o frases cortas APUNTE-S1-3P5á-g. 4

- Si es necesario, una vez terminado, pásalo a limpio para que quede claro y sin errores. 5o EL RESUMEN: Se trata de escribir aquellas ideas que consideres más importantes del texto que has estudiado. Para hacer un buen resumen debes seguir los siguientes pasos: - Tienes que partir del subrayado o del esquema, es decir, de las ideas fundamenta- les. Lo fundamental es que el texto resumido tenga sentido e incluya las ideas fundamentales. - No debe ser una copia de frases salteadas, sino un texto reducido y coherente. No debe sobrepasar la cuarta parte del texto original. - Al leer el resumen se debe entender el sentido de todo el tema. PREPARAR Y REALIZAR UN EXAMEN Todo estudiante pasa en varias ocasiones por los \"temidos\" exámenes. Te proponemosalgunas ideas para que te enfrentes a ellos con buena disposición y obtengas los mejoresresultados. - Cuando sepas la fecha de un examen, planifica tu tiempo y no lo dejes todo para el último día. Tampoco abandones el resto de tus trabajos. - Si puedes, divide los temas para estudiar y reserva el último día para un repaso final. - En el momento del examen, lee con detenimiento los enunciados (muchos de los fallos se cometen por no saber interpretar lo que realmente nos piden) y comienza contestando las preguntas que mejor te sepas.
