In the year 2023, my life took a new path. I stepped into TheNGP school. It was not the first time I stepped into theschool for I had stepped into it as a guest but never as astudent, but all of that changed on the 3rd of April. I took a heavy bag with me, up the stairs to my classroom. Ikept the bag in my classroom and took small steps out intothe corridor. Filled with sadness,I stood and stared at theflag pole wondering if what I did was right? I felt a strangefear, a sink in my stomach as there was no one whom that Iknew. After a while, few students started passing by and chatteringwith one another, I felt even more lonely for my mind was ina state of extreme sadness. I felt like an odd one out like ahuman in a world of aliens. Then came a new face in a saree,'my class teacher'! Her warm smile made me feel comfortableand magical. I walked inside with a new feeling, that \"I am astudent of this school\"... but still thinking about my oldschool.A NEW LIFE IN A NEWSCHOOLAarshika. N. S6-A
The bell rang, the teacher started taking the attendanceand when my name was called, I didn’t notice it then Ipinched myself bringing me back to the present world as Ishouted, \"Present Mam\"! I knew that I will have new experiences everyday and should made up my mind to enjoy every minute of it, butstill my mental self was in my old school. The first week at the NGP school was one of the mostevergreen memories I will ever hold.I faced all kinds of positive, negative, and moderateexperiences. When I think of the NGP school.. I think of a lot ofhappenings. The library is one of those, it was filled withinformative books that held many different genres likefiction, science fiction, text books and novels. Moreover, when the library period comes, I get a kind of mentalrelaxation as my imagination floats away into the stories. Then I experienced something that I will never forget, theSTEM period! Everyone were chattering about STEM. Iwas confused ! My mind was filled with questions! I wasnot sure of what a STEM class would be like. Then we nt into the lab, the students were moving aroud to get acomfortable place. Then my teacher gave an overview ofwhat they learned last year. This gave me a brief ideahowever, I was still not sure. Now after the teacherapproached me and explained it to me, now I am eagerlywaiting for the upcoming sessions.
Then came the worldwide favourite period, The PTperiod! I personally love this fun period as it gives us some time when our bodies can undergo some helpfulmovements to be physically fit and mentally relaxed. Next came in the the most awaited period. In a vast andcool corner lays the school’s swimming pool! Everyonewere scrambling into the rooms to change their clothesbecause they couldn’t bear to waste time on theirfavourite period. So, I was also running along with them.I felt that the cool gentle waves were truly relaxing andalso learning one of the survival life skills is reallynecessary.Saturday clubs are fun in an interactive way we canacquire new skills like oration, cookery, playing thekeyboard or to sing songs etc. As I am a public speaker and a team leader already Iwanted to enhance my public speaking skills. So, I joinedthe IIMUN club to learn not only about the world but toparticipate in world-level conferences. The entire education system in NGP is different! It is veryinformative and quickly adaptable. All the teachers inschool not only help the students to acquire knowledgebut also come down to their level of understanding andhelp sort out their difficulties.
“One child, one teacher, one book and a pen have thepower of changing the world.” With this quote, I would like to conclude my thoughtsabout the NGP school.. as one of the best schools with aperfect balance of extracurriculars and curriculars.Looking forward to embrace more challenges!
I am a hodophile, meaning I love to travel. I have traveledto many places but none was quite like Coonoor. It was aone-day trip with my parents and sister. We started from our home as early as 6:30 AM. Theserene town of Coonoor was just a two-hours drive frommy house. For much of the drive, I was watching with awe the lushgreen sceneries the hill station offered. On the way, westopped at a few places to click photos. One such locationwas Laws Falls which was located just alongside the road.Proceeding higher. We first went to the Dolphin NoseViewpoint. I was amazed by the breathtaking landscape. My sister and I kept taking pictures for such a long timethat our parents- literally- had to pull us to the car. Ournext destination, Lamb’s Rock, was just a few kilometresaway. We had to climb the mountain on stone steps to getto the viewpoint. The climb was very tiring, but as thesaying goes “The best view comes after the hardestclimb”. We then proceeded to Sim’s Park. Even if theflowers were lovely, I did not enjoy them because of thehuge crowd.TRAVEL DIARIESA TRIP TO COONOORNakshatra V.SX-B
We then went to Catherine Falls. We had to trekthrough forests and tea gardens to reach it. The trekseemed to go on and on. After 3km of walking, climbing, and crawling through the hills, we finallyreached the waterfall. I have to say that it was worththe climb. We did not get many pictures because wewere too busy splashing the ice-cold water on eachother. After returning from the falls, we ate our packedlunch under a tree. By the time we were done with ourfood, it started drizzling ever so lightly. My fathersuggested so we took a drive through Wellington. Wesaw the neat streets of Wellington and of course, thetranquil Wellington lake. We then drove through Kodanad estate. When I lookedaround, all I could see were acres and acres of teaplantations. We reached our final destination, theKodanad viewpoint. I could see the beautiful hills anda big city amidst them which I later came to know wasMettupalayam. We then started our drive downhill. Idrifted into an exhausted slumber in the backseat ofour car, dreaming about the serene mountains and thepanoramic views.
“Chandrayaan-3 Carrying Hopes Of 1.4 billion Indians\"-Foreign Affairs Minister“New Chapter In India's Space Odyssey”- PM Modi OnChandrayaan-3 Launch“ISRO’s next leap to the moon” – The HinduThe GSLV mark 3(LVM 3) was launched on 14th July 2023carrying one of the most prestigious missions as well as thehopes and expectations of people around the world. It is thethird lunar exploration mission planned by ISRO (IndianSpace and research organisation). It contains a lander and arover (Pragyan) like the Chandrayaan 2. However, it doesnot contain an orbiter since the Chandrayaan 2’s orbiter isstill operating. The estimated landing date is 23rd August2023, from when the Pragyan rover will explore the rockysurface of the Moon for 1 lunar day or 14 earth days. THE THIRD BOOK OFTHE CHANDRAYAANSERIES -CHANDRAYAAN 3Thriptika. SXI - C
This mission will be tremendously helpful to conduct in-siteexperiments and observations which will help us understandour natural satellite much better. If this mission issuccessful then India will be the 4th country in the world tosoft-land a rover on the moon. While we conducted theChandrayaan 2 mission, we were just one step away fromsuccess. The ISRO team unfortunately lost contact with thelander just 2.1 km from the moon's surface. Regardless, it is needful to understand that this mission isvery challenging as it is very difficult to soft-land on themoon. The first 10 attempts to the moon by the US and theUSSR failed for a variety of reasons. The Soviet Unionfinally succeeded in landing its Luna 9 probe softly on themoon, after 11 failed soft-landing attempts in February1966 and the US successfully landed its Surveyor 1 lander atthe first attempt, in April 1967. Only two nations havesuccessfully landed on the moon on their first attempt. The chandrayaan 3 has many obstacles to clear but for all,we know that the hard work of the Indian scientists will notgo in vain! The chandrayaan 3 is said to be one of the most cost-effective space missions compared to its predecessors. Withan estimated budget of just 615 crores, it is funny how ourscientists can conduct a space mission with a budget lesserthan that of Bollywood and Hollywood movies!
We believe that Chandryaan 3 will continue the league andunequivocally make significant achievements. Furthermore,it will benefit us in preparing for the Lunar PolarExploration Mission (LUPEX), also known asChandrayaan-4. It is an extraordinary mission planned by ISRO and JAXAwhich is based on a planned robotic lunar mission concept, which would be sent to the south region of the moon and isplanned for launch by 2026-28. We look forward to theremarkable achievements made as the Chandryaan seriescontinues to prevail and what the upcoming chapters holdfor us!The Chandrayaan 1 proved to be a huge success, as it madethe discovery of lunar water and recorded the evidence! TheChandrayaan 2 orbiter is still operating and giving usworthful information!
SOCIETY VS PSEUDOFEMINISM Priti. K Grade XI Earth, being a home for humans, is the sweetest one. It is ahome for two distinct and equal identities that are male andfemale. But this equality is breached due to the creation ofhierarchy among humans. Society has people with goodintentions and minds, but it has a dark side too. For years, society was submerged in the vessel of patriarchy. Maybe, society had a partnership with the patriarchy. Even thoughit sounds funny, it could be true. There were opinions that were diverse, different, and indeedconflicting with each other. Feminism, the belief in fullsocial, economic and political equality for women, was onesuch opinion that turned into many waves of massmovements. For example, the recent #MeTooMovement It. had taken many years to demolish, to an extent, thepreconceived prejudices against women that had been builtso strongly in the past. But, in recent years, there emerged the devil in the room -Pseudo feminism. It is the false or fake feminism, whereinwomen show extreme hatred towards men and eventuallydemean them. In the name of feminists, pseudo-feminists doexist in the society.
The pseudo-feminists, although constitute a meagre portionof the feminists, they have damaged the image of feministsand their objectives. According to the data given byNational Crime Records Bureau, 2014-15: out of 25,000rape cases, 76% are falseThis has adversely impacted thelives of men, which has even led to many suicide cases. Pseudo-feminism must stay away, as it is a nightmare. So,we have to revive the true feminism back. Therefore, theidea of pseudo-feminism must shed its leaves for a lushgreen feminism in the society.

Greenland is known as the 'land of the midnight Sun.' TheSun is visible to people throughout the day, including thenight. Interesting, isn’t it? The people in Greenland are called Inuits. They have aunique look because of the snow. They are known fortheir hospitality and kindness. Another cool fact aboutGreenland is that there are no trains and no highways. Itis the country of Helicopters. Here you only travel by airor by sea or by sledges pulled by dogs! Its natural beautyhas always fascinated me. Inventions in the modern world that amazed me.Modern Marvels of 3D Printers: A Gateway to EndlessOpportunitiesWelcome to the world of 3D printers, where dreams transforminto reality! 3D printing technology has made a great revolution not only inthe manufacturing industry but also in many more sectors. Do you know that Nokia, the Finnish tech giant used 3Dprinting to manufacture its Lumia 820 model? A bridge in Amsterdam was 3D printed by a Dutch companyin 2017. Isn’t it astonishing to hear these things? M.Pariddhivelan VII - A
That is how I felt when I heard it. Before going deep into the topic, let us see how 3D printersprints 3-dimensional objects. 3D printing or additivemanufacturing is the construction of a three-dimensionalobject from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It can be done in a variety of processes in which material isdeposited, joined, or solidified under computer control, withthe material being added together, typically layer by layer. The 3D model can be designed by using a software likeTinkercad, a free open-source software developed byAutodesk mostly used by beginners andstudents. The model is then converted into an STL file (the file storing the model’s information) which again is converted into Gcode, which is aspecific code containing exact instructions for the printerwhich then can be printed. But why is the demand for 3D printers increasing day by day?One of the main reasons for people’s attention towards 3Dprinters is their ability to bring imagination to life. Frommanufacturing industries to prosthetics, it has found variousapplications in multiple fields. Another important reason isthat it can produce plastics, metals, ceramics, and evenorganic compounds with fewer resources as compared to vastresources used in the industries of the 20th century thatgenerated massive wastage and pollution.
The world of 3D printers is a realm where imaginationknows no bounds. These incredible machines havetransformed the way we create, customize, and innovate. From personalized designs to rapid prototyping, 3D printershave unlocked a universe of possibilities. With all these, we can conclude that 3D printers have madeimagination into reality!
Nature is probably referred to as Mother Nature because of theselfless services it provides to sustain the human race on thisplanet. It provides us with food. Water, shelter and all the othermaterials that have made our lives much easier. Though we actand pollute nature for our needs and greed, mother nature stillgives its best for its children. The law of nature is designed in apattern of ceaseless motion and every change brought by us is anatural process and is irreversible and leads towards a state ofdecay. Not to forget the fact that the Earth is polluted andabused today as we have forgotten its importance.Hence, as humans, we must accept our responsibility and our illbehaviour towards Mother Nature and change our way ofthinking for the common good of all this would serve as the firstand fundamental step of a mutual relationship between humanand nature.Mahatma Gandhi once said “The Earth has enough resourcesfor every man’s need but not for one man’s greed”. This mostoften quoted phrase by Gandhi ji depicts his concern for natureand environment. So from this we must remember that we donot inherit the Earth from our ancestors but we borrow it fromour children and make a sound investment on conserving natureSave Nature!Furnish the Future!Theja senthilvel VI A
