st Try to leave the Earth a better place than when you arrived ! Earth day is a day for all of us to remember the environment in our busy lives. A day that reminds us to continue to do the little things that help our environment. Things like turning off the lights, the conservation of energy, plant trees, recycle, reduce, and reuse, restore and replenish.” Like every year, students of EuroSchool, Airoli celebrated 51ST Earth day on 22nd April . The theme of this year’s Earth Day was “Do your bit! Restore Our Earth”. They wrote a circular for their society on urging them to use solar panels , segregate waste, water recycle plant ,Vermicompost … to bring about a change that would impact not only those within the school but also the community on the whole. This was followed by a quiz and pledge by the students to do their bit to restore Earth.







































April 12th is known as D.E.A.R Day! D.E.A.R stands for “Drop Everything And Read”. A celebration of reading designed to remind folks of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their lives. Reading is an exercise to the mind which helps child develop his/her imagination and thinking skills. Reading help us to change our thinking, it help us to change our perspective and be open-minded by accepting the world, things, people, their beliefs, their culture, their values, the way they are. At EuroSchool Airoli, we use various strategies to promote reading and encourage students to read more. This year Grade 1 & 2 had the pages turning with D.E.A.R time. Each one of them enjoyed reading the book of their choice which included picture books, chapter books with a huge variety of genres, nonfiction and also novels. The students were happy and excited about the D.E.A.R. time event where they sat with their teachers and read together. It was really an elated moment for the teacher to see the students reading books of their choice very quietly and sharing about what they have read.





A day before the school was out for summer, our grade 1 & 2 Euroieties had fun filled Pajama Party. The theme was \"My favourite object\" which was started with a welcome song. Students enjoyed displaying their favourite thing to their friends and talk about it. Canopy corner was arranged by them where they had their favourite snack which was followed by an activity- Pillow Cover Painting activity. Lastly they enjoyed Shadow dance and bid adieu to their friends and teacher.
