Faith News Singles Ministry Corner THE GRACE TO MAKE CHANGES We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Most, if not all of us, have hurt someone in one way or another, directly and/or indirectly. Somehow, we often forget that we are all sinners saved by grace, so the moment someone does us wrong or sin differently than us, we are ready to cast judgement. When we understand that God is love and that His grace is what keeps us going, then we are more open to forgiveness, having the willingness to forgive others. Let us be reminded that the wages of sin is death, so being alive is GRACE. The challenge is that we do not love like God loves and expects us to love. We get carried away by culture and the things of the world, forgetting that no matter what, we should love unconditionally. Like Pastor T. Basil Sturrup said in his message last Sabbath, \"Love for no reason.\" When we love for no reason, no conditions are applied, no stipulations, no limitations, so when we are hurt by someone, we do not love them any less. Today, find the grace to make changes in your life. Grace, a gift none of us deserves, but it gives each of us the opportunity to make better decisions and walk with God in His righteousness. God is calling us to find grace to make changes and the courage to stand out. Ephesians 2: 4-5: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
