DECEMBER Monte Vista Village 2021 8865 E. Baseline Rd NEWSLETTER Mesa AZ 85209 480-833-2223 From the General Manager We are excited to welcome another winter season as we continue to make progress on all the improve- ments that have been happening at Monte Vista this past year. We have lots of activities scheduled for these beautiful months ahead and we are pleased the US/Canadian border is open up for all of our friends up north. We are eager to let you know that we are close to beginning the new gate construction for the entrances and exits of Monte Vista. Once everything is completed, we anticipate that both Steven Pollard Avenue and Baseline Road will serve as both entrances and exits, with access badges required, and all visitors and guests will need to go through the Ellsworth entrance. We are thrilled about the conveniences these new entrances and exits will provide and believe this will be a benefit to our whole resort. Please be on the lookout for an upcoming email over the next few weeks that will explain in detail the timeline, the new procedures and the access points for each entrance. The new fitness center and sport courts are on track to be completed by the end of this year, the construction fence has been removed and the building and courts will remain locked until we have received our final permits. Brian Montalbano From the Activities Director It’s the best time of the year and we have a calendar jam packed with fun holiday activities to keep you busy beginning with our Tree Lighting in the courtyard on Thursday, December 2nd at 6pm. Come out and enjoy a performance by the Manhattan Dolls, while sipping on hot chocolate! We have a Music Spectacular on Dec. 8th, & will build gingerbread houses on the 10th. Later in the month we have The Lights of Monte Vista , a holiday Scavenger Hunt , an outdoor Christmas movie, and Kids at Christmas! Not to mention our big New Years Eve Party with Uncorked on December 31st! You wont want to miss that! If you haven't had a chance to stop by the Activities Office, make sure you do! We are filled with new staff that cant wait to get to know all of you! Whether you are traveling over the holidays, or will spend them here in Mesa, we sincerely hope you all have a wonderful holiday season filled with joy and love! Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, & Happy New Year! See you in 2022!
