Bali Tourism Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.

LOOKING at statistical data of the Bali Central Statistics Agency (BPS Bali), the number of
foreign tourist arrivals to Bali reached 6.2
million at the end of 2019. This figure is up
around 3.0 percent from 2018 amounting
to the range of 6.1 million foreign tourists.
Besides, Bali has often been named the
world’s best destination. At the Traveler’s
Choice Awards 2019, Bali was ranked the
world’s fourth-best, wherein 2018, Bali was
also ranked the same as the world’s best
destination. As surprised in 2020, Bali was
ranked first by beating London and Paris
commonly perched at the top.
