2 MADAM MARY ESTHER AKOSUA ADAMTEY LATE MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE ADAMTEY Then I heard a voice from Heaven say, write Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes says the spirit, they will nest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them….Rev 14:13 The late Madam MARY ESTHER AKOSUA ADAMTEY whose mortal remains lie before us was born at Jumapo on the 14th December 1913 to Nomu Agbo Tei and Comfort Dede Adeweano (both of blessed memory) All from Koediabe/ Shai. She was the forth (4th) among her siblings of seven (7). She has no educational background. At aged twenty-five (25) she got married to Mr. Daniel Martey and they were blessed with four (4) children; Three sisters and a boy. They later relocated and settled at Koforidua where she started petty trading and also became a vendor of Daily Graphic. In the early years of 1970 she and her husband were baptized into the Roman Catholic Church by Father Halm. She served her Maker and attended Church regularly. In 1981 she was employed by Dr. Asomani as a cleaner at his clinic. She worked there for more than 30 years before retiring due to old age. Her hardworking attitude paved way for her grandchildren to get employment at Dr. Asomani's clinic till date. On 3rd June 2023, she was admitted at the Koforidua Government Hospital. She was called by her maker on 6th June, 2023. Infact the family has indeed lost a virtuous woman. Madam Mary Adamtey (a,k.a Auntie Mary) you will be missed dearly. REST WELL IN THE LORD
TRIBUTE BY LATE MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA 3 CHILDREN ADAMTEY IN LOVINGc MEMORY OF OUR MOTHER MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA ADAMTEY No matter how old a child is, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. Such loss visits one's whole being with pain and cannot be compared to any other. Mother, you were hardworking and caring person. You were genuinely selfless person whose generosity knew no bounds. Not only did you raise us, your own children, but you also raised several nieces and nephews. It did not matter to you whether one was a close or distant relative, the hospitality was undeniably the same. Mother, you did your best in raising us. We remember the calm and firm manner in which you always drove messages across us. We learned quickly not to fool with you because we realized it will not be in our best interest to even try. Mother, you lived a simple life. You were a wonderful mother and losing you at a time when we finally thought you had significantly recovered from your illness will certainly leave a huge void in our lives. To realize all of a sudden that we are motherless bring to us with a feeling of helplessness and hollowness. Had you wanted to say something, leave us a message, but you couldn't? Tell us mother, why was your leaving so sudden? Why were you in a hurry? What happened, mother? Are you missing us like we are missing you? Dearest mother, Rest In Peace and continue to watch over us because now that you are gone, we have no one. Be in Gods care. Kpomo Kpomo Kpomo Yayo yaw kpoo Amen.
TRIBUTE BY LATE MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA 4 GRAND CHILDREN ADAMTEY IN HONOUR OF OUR GRANDMA MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA ADAMTEY And God shall wipe all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away……….. Rev. 21:4 The love of Grandma is unique. Our Grandma was a rock and shield. God gave us our grandmother to liven up our lives, to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better citizens. She played a big part in our childhood. We remember so many times sitting in the kitchen tasting the dishes she prepared with special love. Grandma we quite remember whenever you gave us some money as gifts you would resort; ''you should not let your mothers see the amount'' and you would place your finger on your mouth and whisper ''sheeee''. Grandma you have left us, but your memories would always live on within us. Thank you for your care, concern and sacrifices. We have been told how you did your hard work and investment in our parents. Maa who will welcome us so lovingly when we visit your home again? Who shall we watch our favorite TV Shows with? We thank you for teaching us to be neat, kind, respectful and most especially to love God. Maa you will forever remain in our hearts. Maa you will forever remain in our hearts. Till we meet again REST IN PERFECT PEACE, AMEN.
5 GREAT GRAND CHILDRENLATE MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA TRIBUTE BY ADAMTEY IN HONOUR OF THE LATE MAD. MARY ESTHER AKOSUA ADAMTEY She watches over the ways of household,c and does not eat the bread of idleness ……. Prov. 31:27 With great pain we write this tribute in honour of our Great Great Grandmother AKA Auntie Mary. When we received the message about your demise, we were speechless and confuse. We have visited her the previous day and hopeful that you will recover so we celebrate her. She did not discriminate between her biological children and others under her care. She was somehow strict and applied the same measures to all. We have benefitted a lot from your support and counsel. Auntie Mary you left us too early. There are a number of unfinished businesses and your demise has created a vacuum in our lives. Today we are compelled to say Goodbye. You will always remain in our hearts forever. May the good LORD grant you eternal peace. Kpomo, Kpomo Yaw Kpooo!!! Amen
