2 MAD. SOPHIA ABENA ASIEDUA OFOSULATE MADAM SOPHIA BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE OFOSU C“To everything there is a season, and a time to every Cpurpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2) We have gathered here to celebrate the life well lived of Mad. Sophia Abena Asiedua Ofosu, a woman of substance. Sophia Asiedua Ofosu popularly known as Sisi Sophia was born on the bright Tuesday of 26th December (Boxing Day) 1950 to Mr. Kwabena Manasseh Ofosu of the Aduana family of Abetifi and Madam Margaret Eva Gyanewah of the Oyoko family of Abetifi, both of blessed memory. She was “Tawia” by virtue of the fact that she was born after her twin brothers Joseph and Benjamin Asante. Sisi Sophia attended Abetifi Presby Primary „A‟ and later continued at Nkawkaw Saint Cecilia Elementary School where she obtained her M.S.L.C. Realizing her potential in vocational skills, she was trained to become seamstress at her youthful age and later engaged herself in petty trading. She was gifted with good voice and therefore became a chorister of Abetifi Ramseyer Presby Congregation for over five years. She got the opportunity to travel to West Germany to stay with her uncle and came back to Ghana in the mid-eighties (80‟s). With compassion and love she decided to relocate to Kumasi to take care of her aging mother Mama Eva Gyanewah and worship at Rose of Sharon Presby, Santasi-Kumasi. After her mother was called into eternity, Sisi Sophia moved to Accra and was engaged in trading in 2nd hand clothing, at that time she was worshipping with Bethel Presby, Israel, Accra. She later in 2021 moved to Abetifi, her hometown as baapanin to take care of the house and the family. Lately Sisi was not feeling well due to health issues. She was among the few aged people of the Abetifi Ramseyer Congregation for over two years and was called into eternity on 10th April, 2023. Sisi Sophia left behind three (3) children, Michael Kwadwo Kwakye, Mrs. Conny Griffiths and Irene Appiah-Twum also known as hemaa Akyaa. Mad. Sophia Asiedua Ofosu will always be remembered by her twin brothers, Mr. Joseph Attah Asante, Mr. Benjamin Attah Asante, her Sisters, Mad Josephine Ofosu and Mad Georgina Kissiwa-Wiafe, her extended family members and friends of the faith. Fare Thee Well Sisi Sophia. REST IN PERFECT PEACE
3 LATE MADAM SOPHIA OFOSU TRIBUTE BY CHILDREN John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life whoever believes in me will live even though he dies, Amen. Your death impacted in ways we didn't expect, mom but the years we had together impacted the most. TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED MOTHER Our mother “Mama Sophia” has been our source of progress, courage, God-fearing and strong pillar upon which we rest. She taught us to be generous. A mother, is always a mother. She never stop worrying about her children even when they are all grown up, have children of their own. No matter how many times we broke her hearts she never stop worrying about us and stop praying for us. Mother you heard God's whisper calling you home. You didn't want to leave us. We saw you fight, you loved us so much that you held on tight until all your strength was gone and you could no longer hold on Finally you gave your hand to your maker and slipped away quietly without saying goodbye. Thank you Lord for giving us a jewel as a mother. Kwadwo, Akua, Afia and all your grandchildren will forever miss you Mama Kafra Obaatanpa Due ne Amanehunu

A time to get; and a time to lose; a time to keep; and a time to cast away” Ecclesiastes 3:1-6 TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA Losing a loved one is always something that will be hard to get over, you had the most beautiful heart and love us unconditionally in such a short time. We love you so much grandma, you are the best grandma, mother and best friend that we could ever have. The chance to talk to you, you were so sweet to us and we always enjoyed being around you when you came to Australia Perth. It was one of a life time experience and we will always cherish that memories. It felt like you are at home when you belong with us and we didn't want you to go, our hearts hurt from losing you but we will never ever forget you.
