Fergus & Company and its related entities have been in the business of developing, purchasing and operating commercial properties in Hawaii since 1981. We currently own approximately one million square feet of rentable commercial property throughout the state of Hawaii which we actively manage in-house. Jake Fergus JAKE Fergus is a Principal of Fergus & Company, overseeing the (808) 545-1700 ext. 12 company’s finance and accounting operations and renewable energy [email protected] portfolio. Prior to joining Fergus & Company, Jake was a CPA at Clark Nuber, the largest local public accounting firm in Seattle, focusing on Alex Fergus for-profit, international and state taxation. A graduate of Seabury Hall (808) 545-1700 ext. 25 on Maui and Gonzaga University where he graduated Summa Cum [email protected] Laude, Jake also completed his Master of Accountancy degree at Gon- zaga and was awarded the Outstanding Accounting Student Award, the program’s highest distinction. Alex Fergus is a Principal of Fergus & Company, specializing in the management and leasing of portfolio properties as well as the acquisition of new properties. Prior to joining Fergus & Company, he worked in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch’s Chica- go office, where he primarily focused on the financial institution sector. Alex speaks Mandarin Chinese and has worked abroad for investment banking and consulting firms in Hong Kong and Shang- hai. He grew up in Honolulu, graduated from Punahou School and attended the University of Notre Dame, where he double-majored in Finance and Chinese, graduating with honors. Mike Fergus Mike Fergus was born and raised in Los Angeles and received a degree in accounting from Cal State Northridge in 1973. After acquiring (808) 545-1700 ext. 23 his CPA license, he worked for Ernst & Young for five years in their tax [email protected] practice. Mike originally incorporated Fergus & Company in 1981 and it became the largest commercial real estate management firm in Honolulu from the early to mid-1980’s, with a reputation for setting the bar for maintenance standards and never losing an account. In the mid- 1980’s, Mike began acquiring and developing his own real estate holdings and today Fergus & Company owns commercial property throughout the state of Hawaii.

built 1910 Fergus & Company’s headquarters is located in the Merchant Street Historic District of downtown Honolulu. The building was originally constructed in 1910 to house the editorial and administrative offices of the Hawaiian Star newspaper and is listed as a historic building on the National Register. It has been home to many notable individuals and businesses including Wallace Rider Farrington who served as Territorial Governor from 1921-1929.
