Alpha Singapore held IGNITE, our first ever online conference, from 14 to 15 August 2020! IGNITE was organised in collaboration with the Chinese Annual Conference of the Methodist Church of Singapore. As it was run over Zoom, we were even able to have speakers and participants from other countries join us! The conference focused on the rise of digital evangelism and using Alpha online as a response to this rapid development. Speakers discussed Alpha as a multi-faceted tool for evangelism, equipping next generation leadership, and church growth, amongst other possibilities. There were also panel sessions where several speakers shared their personal experiences of running Alpha. We thank God for the opportunity to gather together, exploring how He is still at work and how we can continue the work of the Great Commission in these times! 49
The Marriage Course Remake The Marriage Course Remake was launched earlier this year! The Marriage Courses comprise two video series: The Pre-Marriage Course and The Marriage Course. Each series now comes with brand new supporting resources including Guest Journals, Leaders’ Guides, training videos, and promotional materials. Each course is designed to refresh and transform relationships. TMC helps couples build strong foundations for the future, with the provision of practical tools that guide them towards connecting better with one another. Running these courses, which are based on Christian principles, is a great opportunity for couples with a heart for family life ministries to come alongside other couples. TMC can also be run online, which allows you to journey with friends across the world, from the comfort of your own home. All who wish to invest in their relationships are welcome to attend TMC! 50
