The main benefits are covered in five categories; fitnessand health, self-defense, competitive sport (amateur games), profession, art (cinematic moves,traditional rituals). It fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship among practitioners. It aims tocultivate one’s general personality to be sound and pleasing.Time Frame: 22.5 hours / 15 sessionsObjectives: Muaythai as an art and science aims to: Teach the students to appreciate the values and benefits of practicing the art. The students will understand the historical significance of muaythai as culture and tradition of Thailand. Teach the students to be aware of their physical power by knowing to protect their body’s vital points, as well as using physiological strong points to attack and defend. The students will be able to perform the basic techniques of muaythai and use it effectively and properly.
To build confidence as an individual practitioner and solidarity as a team player, as much as to find enjoyment in all activities. To gain a physically fit and healthy body.Teaching Strategies: 1.
