The new Pumping house has the capacity of 100 MGD and would add 50 MGD in the system which was not being supplied to Karachi due to old machinery. According to details revealed at the ceremony the pumping station consists of four pumping machines, each with a capacity of 25 MGD, therefore the total capacity wel- come to 100 MGD. This pumping station would provide an addi- tional 50 MGD of water to Karachi from Kin- jhar Lake.
