TO: Mrs. Reid FROM: Tyler Pippin DATE: February 26, 2019 SUBJECT: User’s Manual Proposal My Topic I plan on providing a manual that goes into great depth about how to be a successful Domino's pizza delivery guy. In my manual, I plan on discussing proper dress attire, loading and unloading the customer’s food, the importance of a driver’s tag, and much more. I will provide my own pictures that I take on the job, so my audience has a better idea of how to use it. Audience The manual will be geared towards new incoming employees, but it will also help already employed Domino’s worker be more beneficial. I have been working for Domino’s for six months now, and I have seen a tremendous amount of people come and go. Therefore, there is a growing need for a manual to new employees. A lot of time is wasted while training these employees. However, a user’s manual for the job provides insight, so there will not be nearly as much time wasted on training the new employees. Reasoning I work typically forty hours a week, and I have been doing it for long enough where I know the ins and outs of the job. Therefore, I think am qualified as an expert, and I have some knowledge to pass down. My delivery ratings are also the best in the store, so I believe that makes me more applicable for making this manual. Conclusion My skills and knowledge on the job will make for a great manual. I plan on going into many details that will provide future employees to the opportunity to learn their tasks fully before ever starting. Luckily, for me I will need little to none resources because I can provide my own pictures as well as my own information. Please let me know if there is anything I need to change.
