College Scholarship Opportunities Fleckenstein Scholarship for Moscow UMC active participants entering 1st year college with a preference going to a student seeking a vocation/trade education. Applications may be picked up during office hours or a digital copy may be requested via email at [email protected] & submitted to the church office by Thursday, March 29th. UMC Higher Education Scholarships: Applications Open January 3rd: Active Moscow United Methodist Church high school seniors and college students can apply online at https://www.gbhem.org/loans-and- scholarships/scholarships between January 3 - March 7, 2018. Low interest student loans also available. Gideon’s International is a businessmen’s organization dedicated to purchasing anddistributing Bibles all around the world. If any one has spare time to help, please call John Robinson, regional president at 570-342-4371. Donation envelopes and memorial cards are available near the MUMC church mailboxes for any who wish to support this ministry.
Church Men United Announces 69th Annual Lenten Communion ServiceThe communion service, which is open to all, will be held atElm Park Church in Scranton on Sunday, February 18, andbegins at 7:45 a.m., with pre-service music beginning at7:30 a.m., with special music both before and duringworship by The Gospelaires of Clarks Green UnitedMethodist Church. Sharing the message will be RichardBradshaw, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House,Scranton and Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church inScranton.This event, held each year since 1950, serves as apilgrimage for many who have attended the service yearafter year.After the service, breakfast will follow at Elm Park.
