PROJECT & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS Technical & Business Skills Transfer to LPS Installers The Lightning Gurus` (TLG) main goal is to enable black start-up lightning protection companies to have access to larger projects by providing lightning protection supply and installation management and business management. All of The lightning Gurus are 100% black owned start-up companies, ELPA accredited and are trained to meet TLG`s extremely high levels of compliance and workmanship on all projects. TLG manages up to five Lightning Gurus. The management solutions we provide include both the project management of earthing and lightning protection system installations and business management procedures. TLG`s project management team ensures that each Lightning Guru can meet all of the expertise, technical backup and quality control measures that are required to successfully provide effective solutions. TRANSPARENT TENDER PROCESS (TTP) Best Proposal Submission TLG essentially submits complete earthing and lightning proposals on behalf of our 100% owned Lightning Guru partner companies. These proposals can be in the form of formal tender documents or can be negotiated work with repeat clients. All of TLG`s proposals include for the design and overall management of the earthing and lightning protection system by Lightning Protection Concepts (consultancy firm), the installation by one of The Lightning Gurus and the inspection, testing and verification by The Testing Gurus (independent earthing and LPS testing company). All enquiries that TLG receives are put out to tender to each TLG company. The best proposal is then submitted on behalf of The Lightning Gurus. Engineers and quantities surveys are able to review TLG`s tender process, if they so wish. TLG then issues an order to proceed with the supply and installation of the earthing and LPS to the successful Lightning Guru. All installations are carried out as follows: - All risk assessments, designs and engineering is carried out by Lightning Protection Concepts. - All earthing and LPS components are procured from TLG`s approved suppliers. - All components comply with the requirements of the SANS 62561 series of standards. - All installations are executed according to LPC`s designs, TLG`s QA/QC plans and site HSE requirements. - All installations are inspected and tested independently by TTG. - ELPA certification with independent verification by the designer (LPC), the installer (TLG) and the inspector (TTG). The Lightning Gurus network of accredited installers has been developed through years of working together with our Gurus on many projects and the development of a high level of understanding of the quality standards that TLG requires on all projects. MEET THE GURUS The Team Kenneth Roets Kenneth Roets has been in the lightning protection industry for more than 10 years. He joined DEHN Africa in 2014 as a key account manager and a business development manager where he assisted various lightning protection installation companies with the installation procedures for DEHN lightning and surge protection products. Prior to working for DEHN Africa, Kenneth worked for Clearline Protection Systems where his focus was on providing surge protection solutions. Kenneth has been actively involved in the newly established ELPA where he assisted in the formulation of various installation procedures. He has also been instrumental in creating awareness within the solar industry of the importance of providing proper lightning protection to PV systems. Kenneth`s responsibility as Managing Director is to manage the installation of lightning protection systems by providing effective communication channels between the LPS designers, suppliers, installers and inspectors. Israel Melody - ELS Earthing & LPS Israel Melodi is the Managing Director of ELS Earthing and Lightning Solutions, a 100% black owned company. Israel has been in the earthing and lightning protection industry for over 20 years. Israel started his career at the bottom as a general worker, rose through the ranks to become a contracts manager where he led six installation teams and was responsible for up to twenty different sites at any given time. His previous employers include HHK, EnI Electrical, Dynamic Instrument, Griniker-LTA Electrical and Instrumentation and Pontins where he worked as contracts manager before leaving in 2017 to start his own business. Israel has managed various projects in South Africa and other countries in Africa including Ghana, DRC, Botswana and Rwanda. Israel has successfully managed over 1000 projects in his role as a contracts manager and as the Managing Director of ELS Earthing and LPS specialists. ELS Earthing & LPS is an integral part of The Lightning Gurus. Michael Tshifularo - MTEA Projects Michael Tshifularo, Managing Director and sole owner of MTEA Projects, a 100% black owned company. Michael has been a lightning protection specialist for over 15 years. During this time Michael has been mentored by two of South Africa`s leading lightning protection authorities namely Trevor Manas and Prof. Ian Jandrell, who is also assisting Michael in the completion of his electrical engineering degree. Michael has achieved much as a lightning protection specialist including the installation of South Africa`s first HVRI lightning protection system. Michael’s experience in the installation of lightning protection systems is extensive and he has been instrumental in successfully installing lightning protection systems to various classified, hazardous and explosive type structures. Freddy Toto - Lekgobane Trading Freddy Toto started his career as an earthing and lightning protection specialist in 1995. Working for Pontins, he developed an in-depth understanding of earthing and lightning protection systems. He excelled as both an installer and then as a contracts manager and in 2008 he was appointed as a company director of Pontins, one of SA`s largest LPS companies. Freddy founded Lekgobane in 2017 and has successfully completed numerous project for The Lightning Gurus. Freddy and Lekgobane Trading have the insight, skills and experience required to install compliant earthing and lightning protection systems for any type or size of project. Page 3

REFERENCES Insight, Skills & Experience The compartmentalised approach to lightning protection system installations where the designer, installer and inspector are separate entities has been designed to provide the highest levels of competence and compliance. This system of providing effective earthing and lightning protection solutions was started in 2017 with The Lightning Gurus successfully completing more than 60 projects in the first year. As each Lightning Gurus` company grows, the number of completed lightning protection installations will also increase accordingly. THE SOLAR GURU DIVISION PV Protection Network The single largest cause of damage to PV systems is from lightning and surges. The Solar Gurus are geared to enable effective protection to rooftop and free field PV systems. TLG Solar Division assists PV system installers with cost effective and compliant lightning protection solutions. We provide PV system installers help in the complete design (LPC), the procurement of the right components, installation assistance and certification of PV system LPSs In most cases where LPS installations are not technically difficult, TLG Solar Division assists PV system installers with the installation of the LPS and surge protection systems. On more technically difficult installations, one of The Lightning Gurus would carry out the LPS installation. . TLG Solar Division also provides PV specific lightning protection training enabling PV system installers to include the LPS installation costs into their scope of works. Many projects have been successfully completed in this way and the lightning protection measures have proven to be highly effective and beneficial to PV system installers and their clients. Page 5

THE THATCH GURU DIVISION Protection of Thatch via HVRI Technology HVRI (High Voltage Resistant Insulation) conductors provide an equivalent separation distance to that of conventional freestanding masts. This means that HVRI lightning protection masts and conductors can be installed directly onto thatch roof structures, which in turn results in much lower mast heights being used and a much better aesthetic result for the entire structure. HVRI technologies represent the most advanced method of creating effective separation distances where required. The Thatch Gurus have been extensively trained in the installation procedures for this cutting edge technology. Many thatch structures have been protected by the Thatch Gurus such as new structures and existing thatch structures where the old freestanding masts were old, bent or corroded causing safety concerns. Full protection solutions include all of the engineering / design works, the LPS installation as well as the testing and certification of earthing and lightning protection systems. Partner Companies Provide Full Protection Solutions Lightning Protection Concepts (LPC) LPC provides complete lightning protection design and engineering for all projects. All projects including the installation, testing and certification of the lightning protection system are managed and overseen by LPC. The Lightning Gurus (TLG) TLG is the installation partner company which consists of a network of ELPA accredited lightning protection installation companies. All Gurus have 15+ years experience as LPS installers and are trained in compliance with TLG`s extremely high quality and workmanship levels. TLG is a company dedicated to enabling black start-ups to have access to larger projects. The Testing Gurus (TTG) TTG is the testing and certification partner company which consists of highly qualified lightning protection inspectors, who are responsible for the entire handover process for installations completed by TLG. TTG provides independent verification and certification of lightning protection systems to ensure compliance and quality of the protection systems.
