Rochester Hills BUILDING DEPARTMENT January Nuggets continued… The home owner at 3394 Edmunton called and raved about Jeff Fraser saying, “He was warm, kind, and easy to talk to”. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bert Hallewas thanked Mike Lubinski for the quick fix on the heating system at Borden Park. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Facilities installed a privacy shade in Tom Howley’s office. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Lenhart, Building Official for Farmington Hills requested a list of positions we have in our building department. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rochester Hills was noted in The Home Builders Association Magazine for being #1 in Oakland and Macomb Counties for the number of multifamily building permits. We were also noted as #5 for new single family permits. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aaron Geer for Shelby Township called to see how Rochester Hills implemented our electronic permit plan review and field inspection processes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Facilities was able to get the main overhead door fixed at the DPS garage within 48 hours after being told it would take 2 weeks by the contractor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Facilities installed plexi-glass panels in the DPS garage area in response to safety concerns from DPS staff. Allan Schneck and Paul Davis were very thankful. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ed Lafave and the entire facilities team received an email of thanks and appreciation from Leanne Scott. “Thank you to the entire facilities team. They are truly a great group of gentlemen!
