The Theme of the Fall 2023 Issue is "introspection." Because this is the first issue of the magazine, we not only took inspiration from the name of this literary magazine (The Introspect), but also from the process of creation itself. Writers and artists draw inspiration from their own experiences, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and translate those experiences into a new work of writing or art. The creative process itself, is a process of introspection, and we found this theme to be very fitting as our first ever theme.
