25th October & We had a great day at the Afghan Community Day in the Ropewalk Garden, St Mary’s. We had a stall to offer the children some fun and engaging activities whilst parents found out from a multitude of stall holders about support available to them across the city. The event went really well, and attendance was high. 26th October This bespoke course is specifically designed for children and covers all aspects of the one day first aid program in a child friendly way. Delivered by a qualified Paramedic we trained 24 local children over the 3 days, all of which passed, receiving a certificate and a mini first aid kit to take home. 27th October & We had a great day at Wavell & MacArthur on Wednesday, Joining Forces with SCPA to run our Pop-Up Play session. Despite the overcast weather, we still had 14 Adults and 32 children attend, pumpkin carving and playing games. It was a great chance for us to engage with local children and parents and build our community links and promote Recycling. 3
