PUBLISHER'S MESSAGE The first edition of The BEST of MYANMAR was successfully launched in December 2017. The response has been over- whelmingly encouraging. With the tremendous positive changes that have taken place in the country during the past 2 years, especially for tourism, we are encouraged to fulfil a new demand by producing this new edition of the book. As with the first edition, the focus is to highlight the best Myanmar has to offer to foreign visitors including top destinations, best hotels, best restaurants and unique Myanmar products. To attract more Chinese speaking travelers from the Greater China of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan plus some Southeast Asian overseas Chinese, we decided that the English texts should be complimented by Chinese texts, thus, a bilingual publication for this new edition. BEST of MYANMAR is to showcase Myanmar’s best and the affordable book is widely distributed in Myanmar and other Southeast Asian countries. Invited participating businesses also display them in their premises such as hotels and restaurants and using it as premium and gift item for their VIP clients.
