A project for a ladies beach original design scope is to construct a beach with rock groynes or breakwater at both sides of the beach area and to construct a privacy barrier in between the Breakwater. Crystal proposed an alternative instead of privacy barrier only with Boardwalk with Privacy Barrier to the whole beach area, instead of typical privacy barrier only (which the purpose is for privacy only) the boardwalk added more functions (i.e. walkable) and added more architectural beauty to the beach area – while the alternative proposal still within the project budget. The proposal were highly appreciated by the client. Crystal Projects in many successful projects proved the innovative solution approach towards the works to be effective, the following are some examples of the effective approach of Crystal Projects. 1. At project tendering, crystal team will carefully go through with the project details and see all cost effective options to give better project budget while the result will be the same – ex. One project requires a beach rectification or beach improvement – the project requires to have new beach sand while the existing beach sand can be use which is the same quality. 2. Alternative Work methodology can be cost effective and efficient while the result will be the same. For example, one the project of Crystal, is to construct Platform/Node for Walkway in Mangrove Area and the convenient option is to use Barge to install the Piling. The Barge will be use by the Drilling Equipment to drive the Piles. Crystal proposed an alternative methodology (approved) to use a backfill material to create a temporary platform, the temporary platform will be use then to position the drilling machines for Piling.
