Chicken Noodle Soup Have you ever felt the warmth of a bowl with something yummy inside? Well, that's what I feel when I touch the bowl with chicken noodle soup inside! I think chicken noodle soup is the best because it's great to smell! First, I think chicken noodle soup smells good like cooked carrots. My mom likes cooked carrots, especially when we put the cooked carrots in the crock pot with the broth. We like to put rainbow carrots inside so it is more colorful. It takes a long time to cook but the smell makes it all worth the wait. Second, it tastes a little salty when we put salt in it but it adds flavor. Lastly, it is not too hot or cold, it is perfectly warm. We cook it on low so it is not hot it's only warm. I think chicken noodle soup is the best because you get to smell it, it tastes yummy, it's not too hot or cold but perfectly warm. Now you see why chicken noodle soup is one of my favorite foods. Take the chicken out of the water & shred it up. To make the green salsa you boil, green tomatoes, green California peppers until tender. Once ready transfer them to a blender & add garlic & chicken bouillon, a little water until fully blended. Have a pan ready with hot oil ready to transfer that sauce & cook in the oil. Add a little flour to thicken the sauce. After done let it sit until it cools down. Now to add flavor to the prepared tamale dough you add lard & as much juice stocked left from the chicken that you previously boil as needed. You want the dough to have a nice smooth/soft texture. Once you have all your ingredients ready it’s time to make the tamales. Grab a corn husk add some dough & spread it on half of the husk, be a little generous. Flatten it out then add shredded chicken & some green salsa. Use the dry side of the husk to fold & make it into a burrito. Seafood Gumbo Hey have you ever wanted Ingredients something savory and that tastes ¼ cup canola oil like seafood? Me to! That's why 8 oz smoked sausages you should try gumbo. Whats ¼ cup unsalted butter gumbo you ask , well its a type of ½ cup flour soup that has crab, chicken, 1/2 packet of dried crushed/ground shrimp scallops, rice and roux. If you are a 1 piece medium onion , diced seafood lover like me you should 2 teaspoons garlic , minced try it! These are some of the 1 piece medium green bell pepper , diced reasons why i love it. I love seafood 1 cup celery , chopped but don't get me wrong even 1 pound crab legs though i do love it, sometimes i 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning want more exotic flavors and this 1 tablespoon chicken bullion powder or cubes meal is perfect for that. I also enjoy ½ tablespoon smoked paprika spending time with my family when 1 tablespoon thyme we eat this meal together. One day 2 pieces bay leaves i hope to make this meal with my 6 cups chicken stock , substitute with water own family. One last thing, gumbo 1 pound cooked shrimp , peeled and deveined is a great recipe to have because it 1 tablespoon gumbo file has a lot of love and preparation. 2 pieces green onions , chopped Salt , adjust to taste Directions: 1. Heat oil in a Dutch oven, over medium heat, then add sausages, brown for about 3-5 minutes, remove and set aside. 2. Pour in remaining oil, butter, and flour, gumbo file powder, green onions, and chopped parsley and cook on medium heat stirring continuously, for about 10-15 minutes or until it turns a rich deep brown color just like chocolate. 3. Add your packet of dried crushed/ground shrimp to your roux. Flavor according to taste 4. Do not walk away from the stove during this process. It might burn. 5. When you have achieved your desired color, add the onion, garlic, green bell pepper, and celery to the pot and cook for about 8- 10 minutes –stirring often. 6. Then return the sausages back to the pot, followed by crab legs, Creole seasoning, chicken bouillon or cubes, paprika, thyme, bay leaves, and let it cook for 5 minutes. 7. Pour in 6 cups of chicken or shrimp stock, bring to a boil, and let it simmer for about 20 – 30 minutes. Add the shrimp, and simmer for 5 more minutes. 8. I think my dad's famous 1 bottle of BBQ sauce ribs are the best! First, they are so juicy and 1 tablespoon of pepper and tasty. For example, my dad puts them in foil salt. and lets them sit for 15 minutes and it makes it 1 bottle of pork seasoning really flavorful. Second, they are sweet. For example, my dad puts a lot of BBQ sauce. The Directions: BBQ sauce is sweet and that gives the ribs Cut the rack of ribs in 4 sections then their flavor. Third, they have a smoky flavor to you place them in a large pot fill it them. For example, my dad leaves the grill with half full with water then add the salt, the grill top closed so the smoke stays inside. pepper and pork seasoning. Then cut Now you can see my dad's ribs are the best! up the onion and add it to the pot. You can try out the recipe! Turn the stove on, bring the pot to a boil on high heat for 1 hour. At the 30 min mark add half of a bottle of BBQ sauce after 1 hour turn off the stove. Remove the ribs from the pot then put them on the grill using indirect heat at 375 degrees. After 20 mins use the brush to spread BBQ sauce on the ribs. After 20 mins turn off the grill and remove the ribs. Wrap them in aluminium foil. Let them sit for 15 mins. Here's the first reason,I love how the vegetables are super sweet and savory you just wanna eat it forever! The second reason is when I have the juicy chicken has seasoning on it! It smells super good.The last reason is when I have it with rice, oh yeah! It taste so sweet, moist soup and rice! As you can see Tinola has sweet vegetables, juicy chicken, and delicious rice. So if you love all that then you should go ahead and try it! How to make Chicken Tinola in an Instant Pot: Set Instant Pot to saute mode. Add 1 tsp oil, 2 tsp minced garlic, 1-3 pieces of thinly sliced ginger, and half of an cut onion. Cook until fragrant and the onions begin turning translucent. Then add 10-12 pieces chicken drumsticks or wings or both, salt, and pepper. Cook chicken until lightly browned on each side. Next add 2 cups of chicken broth , 1 cup of woter, 1 tbsp chicken bouillon or 1 chicken broth cubes. Or to save time you can also purchase pre-made Tinola sauce packets at any asian grocery store. Then add about 3-4 green chayote (or papaya) cut into medium sized cubes. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and set to sealing. Press the cancel button to stop saute mode. Then cook on manual high pressure for 15 minutes. Once cooking is completed open the vent by turning to venting and allow the Instant Pot to depressurize. Once the metal pin has dropped you can open the lid. Remove lid and add about 4 bundles of washed and cut baby bok choy (you can also substitute with spinach). Add 1- 2 tsp of fish sauce and more salt for taste per your liking. Place the lid back on the Instant Pot for a few minutes without turning it back on and the residual heat will wilt the leaves.
