SP provided a very encouraging environment. William Twice, I was given the opportunity to participate DCEB (now known as DCE) in the Introducing and Demonstrating Earthquake Engineering Research in Schools (IDEERS) held in Gold Medallist, Class of 2019 Taiwan. In my second participation, I even got to collaborate with fellow schoolmates from another course to develop an innovative building design strong enough to withstand earthquakes, For our hardwork, we managed to clinch the second prize among other competitors from Singapore and other countries. Through the experience, I was exposed to different perspectives of Civil Engineering and it definitely encouraged me to delve deeper into the field. With relevant skills and experiences provided by SP, I believe that I am ready for my next step in life. 11

I was able to receive a one of a kind internship experience at ISS-NUH. It was challenging because it tested my interpersonal, project management and coordination skills that I have never before used in a workplace environment. However, it was enriching at the same time as I was lucky enough to fine-tune these skills before heading to university, as well as the workforce in a few years time. The course has equipped me with relevant skills that I need to face future challenges and also gave me a clearer direction in where my interest lies.
