EPTA Regional News While live events have not been possible during the lockdown period, many of the regions have organised online meetings and events. Manchester Region held a very successful Zoom concert and regular meetings. Herts has been holding monthly playing groups, and other regions have been holding their own events. There are some further events scheduled in the coming months and details of these can be found on the EPTA UK website. We have welcomed new Regional Organisers: in London North East, Talia Girton; and in Essex Janet Kelly has taken on the mantle from Sharon Goodey whom we must thank for all her hard work for EPTA UK over the past years. Many of the Regional Organisers have been holding regular meetings and ensuring that the regions have had support, contact and events where possible. Going forward we are planning a concert for any teacher and student who would like to enter. Thank you to everyone for all the work you continue to do in your regions; it has made a big difference to our members during this difficult period.
