Kennel Club of United Kingdom According to the Kennel Club of the United Kingdom, all the dogs that don’t sustain over time can’t be registered with the club. However, all the dogs that remain established the merle color over time can be registered. They stated that they could only register the few merles that last longer, like cardigan Corgi and Shetland sheepdog. They don’t like the Merle French Bulldog breeding method as the various health risks are involved in it. The Merle French Bulldog registration is denied since 1 Jan 2013. American Kennel Club American Kennel Club has some requirements to register a dog, including weight, height, coat color, head, neck, temperament, gait, and body. They have the merle color in their disqualified colors list. Still, if you fulfill all the other requirements, it’s not registered with the American Kennel Club.

Although the Australian National Kennel Council also banned the Merle French Bulldog, but the breeders are registering them by mentioning the false colors. Breeders use to register the false-color like fawn and brindle. But later, the ANKC change the registering process to prevent false information.
