Once, there lived two silly goats, Bill and Willy across a beautiful river that flows through a small village. The goats grew up healthily in the same farm, fed and raise by a kind farmer. However, unlike any other goats, they would always compare with one another. Back 1
Both proud and boastful, Bill and Willy would make fun of the other to be less worthy than themselves. It happened so often their actions had been taken over by pride. Next 2
Not far from the village was a lovely stream that separated two lands. There, a bridge stood connecting both lands for those who wished to cross the river. The only flaw is the bridge was narrow, it was so narrow that it can only allow one person or animal at a time to cross it. Back 3
Normally, it would not be a problem if two people were to come to both opposite ends of the bridge. They only need to take turns crossing the bridge. However, the two silly goats, Bill and Willy met with a tragedy one day over their stubborness! PART 2 4
It so happened that both of them appeared on the opposite ends of the bridge at the same time. Despite having seen each other, Bill and Willy would not give ways. Ignoring the warning sign on the edge of the bridge, they each forced their way on crossing from both ends. Back 5
When the two goats both came to the middle of the bridge, neither of them wanted to give way. They both stood firmly on their ground. Bill cried out, “Hey, you! You’re in my way. Can't you see I’m here first? Let me across!\" Next 6
\"Watch your words, you foolish one! I was here. First. You should let me through first!\" Willy roared. Back and forth, they argued and started pushing each other before long. And what do you think happened after that? They got into a big fight and lost their balance on the narrow bridge. Back 7
“SPLASH!” They fell into the river, crying and crying for help while being washed away by the river flow. What have you learned from the story of the two silly goats? Moral Values 8
