ACTIVITY TIME “WHOLESOME GROWTH LEADS TO HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT” We believe in hands on doing therefore, we encourage teaching based on activity oriented. In GDGPS we give emphasis to teach the kids with all the basic manipulative. The classes are based on the learning by doing where the kids learn not only by reading they learn it by doing where they come out with their different ideas related to the concept and they practice it with their peer as a group activity. After the end of the chapter the students come out of the innovations based on the topic. It enhances their critical thinking and creativity Extra Curricular activities help to develop the whole student. We can just produce one dimensional students in our school. Students who are involved in extra curricular activities tend to improve their academics grades as well. This may be due to increased self esteem, motivation & better time management. They became better organized in the classroom. They demonstrate a reduction of at risk behavior & a heightened sense of belonging resulting in better behavior. That’s why we believe in activity oriented teaching.
