Decide for yourself. Infatuation Infatuation Infatuation Infatuation Infatuation It is an instant desire. It’s one set of glands calling to another. It is marked by a feeling of insecurity. You are excited and eager, but not genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions, little bits and pieces about your beloved that would make you loose your sleep! Infatuation says, “We must get married right away. I can’t lose him”. Infatuation has an element of sexual excitement; if you are honest you will admit it. It is difficult to be in one another’s company unless you are sure it will end intimacy. It lacks confidence, when your beloved is away, you wonder if he or she is cheating, sometimes you even check. Infatuation might lead you to do things you will regret later. Love Love Love Love Love It is friendship that has caught fire. It takes root and grows – one day at a time. It is the quiet understanding and nature acceptance of imperfection. It is real. It gives you strength and grows beyond you to bolster your beloved. You are warmed by his presence even when he is away. Long distances do not separate you. You want him near, but near or far, you know he is yours and you can wait. Love says, “Be patient, don’t panic. He is yours. “Plan your future with confidence. Love is the maturation of friendship. You must be friends before you can be lovers. It means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened. He feels that trust and it makes him more trust worthy. Love makes you a better person than you ever before. K 46 Time is an endless song.

Riya Roy Riya Roy Riya Roy Riya Roy Riya Roy Semester 4 Civil Ruby Just Do it! Can you believe you were once scared of water? Or even of getting your hair cut? Walking, which is one of life’s most basic functions, was once a real threat to you. That is, until you decided to take the first step and then, bang, you fell over! With a little bit of encouragement from your mum and dad, you persisted, and you haven’t looked back since. Fear of any challenge in your life is really there to stretch you, to take you from one comfort zone to the next. Think back of your first day at school and how nervous you were. It probably brings a smile to your face now, but back then you were so unsure of yourself, and that was okay. You have grown from that point. You challenged yourself, met the fear head on, and Wow! Think of a fear right now that could be holding you back from achieving more of your potential. May be it is speaking in front of your peers at work, or if you have mastered that, in front of an unknown audience. Contrary to public opinion, great public speakers are not born for it. They just practice a lot. If you can give yourself more opportunities to get up in front of an audience, you will find that you start to get more comfortable as your self-talk changes from. ‘I hate this’ to ‘I think I’m getting the hang of this……it’s getting easier- this is great- they are really enjoying my presentation ……..! When you challenge fear or pain in your life and meet it head on, you take away its hold on you. It’s the challenges in life that force is to draw our courage. So the next time you’re faced with a setback, always know that an equal or better opportunity is around the corner but only if you think so. K I don’t think of the past. The only thing that matters is the everlasting present. 85 W. Somerset Maugham (1874 - 1965), The Moon and Sixpence
