THE ETA Is the giving arm of Eta Alpha. Its purpose is to advanceFRIENDSHIP the Sorority's vision to be recognized as the premierFOUNDATION multicultural women's organization who through its gifting, support, services, and funding, will shiftTHE NATIONAL GRAND COUNCIL atmospheres and create progressive change in the world we live in. Our foundation holds each of our donors in the highest regard and it has established multiple opportunities to allow individuals to determine how they would like to give. We are launching our first annual Donation Drive beginning October 1. Our donation drive will reach donors and potential partners around the globe. The mission of the donation drive is to increase our funding by 130% for the 2017-18 fiscal year. This mission can be accomplished through donations we are seeking. Donors will see the benefits of their giving through our ongoing performing arts scholarship, our S.T.E.M. scholarship, Military Servicewomen initiatives just to name a few. Through our Donor Recognition Program, they are celebrated on a global scale by way of our international website, our quarterly newsletter, our internal circular, all along with personal donation gifts sent to them directly. CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS April 2017also known as Child Abuse Prevention Month in America, is an annual observance in the United States dedicated to raisingawareness and preventing child abuse. April has been designated Child Abuse Prevention Month in the United States since1983 and we chose this cause because we do believe our children are our future.

Sometimes we meet temporary people Oursin our lives and they don't stay for too Matterslong because they're actually a lessonfor us. They teach us how to becomestronger, and more independent asindividuals. Then one day, you becomean Eta and realize that sisters do nothave to be relatives, they stick around,and they are a blessing instead.In Eta, our sisterhood is comprised ofsisters that can say anything andeverything to. We keep one anotherlifted up in prayer and one anothercracking our sides, laughing. Wepreserve our sisterhood, and we valueour sacred rituals and traditionsbecause we know that like our flower,the yellow tulip, it can blossom into agreater friendship that can withstandanything, and everything. Together, weare unstoppable and that's why oursmatters.

MILITARY AWARENESS May 2017May was Military Awareness Month and we wanted to commemorate military servicewomen from all around the world. Wereached out to various women and solicited their participation. We were honored to have been able to use our platform topromote their tenure, their time, and their service in protecting our country. We are incredibly proud of all women who have,who are, and who will serve in our Armed Forces. We salute you!

#TRULYETA is a 2017 marketing brand designed to illustrate our authenticity and class Eta Alpha is stepping up in 2017 to cultivate a culture of strong, empowered women who are motivated, committed, and who are confident in all things Eta. We are providing every member with a rewarding Sorority experience offering a plethora of personal and professionaldevelopment opportunities, leadership training, and social engagements that create memories for a lifetime.To bring this to life, we invite you to our 2017 campaign, 'Truly Eta'. This year's campaign speaks to its associated theme, \"Boots On The Ground\", and bring continued transparency of who we are. We look forward to bringing 'Truly Eta' to life. Be on the look out for our 'Truly Eta' icon this year on all of our marketing materials.

SCOLIOSIS AWARENESS June 2017Scoliosis Awareness Month takes place yearly in June with the goal of highlighting the growing need for education, earlydetection and awareness to the public about scoliosis and its prevalence within the community. Our campaign also unitesscoliosis patients, families, physicians, clinicians, and families in collaborative partnerships of local activities, events andgrassroots networking throughout the month.
