Longford Districts Little Athletics Centre Notes Registered athletes will be notified by text message of cancellations The Centre reserves the right to run an amended program, please contact the Centre if you require clarification.  In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather our meeting will be held on Sunday morning from 9am.  All competing children are to wear footwear in all events. Visitors are welcome to all meetings.  Parents, please note that your attendance with your child is required. No responsibility will be taken for children left at the venue without supervision.  To qualify for Centre Championships, children must wear the 25 Participation Badge, must have competed in each event they enter three times at  Longford District Centre, and have competed at a minimum of nine competition meetings. Correct Club Uniforms MUST be worn.  Only two trials will be offered for throws and jumps on a twilight meet.  70

Season 2019 - 2020 Little Athletics Tasmania Centre Memorial Awards North Launceston White City - Samantha (Sam) Hellyer Multi-Event Memorial Trophy The Sam Hellyer Multi-Event Memorial Trophy is in recognition of a former White City athlete who was tragically killed in a bike accident in 2004, aged 14 years. Sam was a dedicated member of the White City Centre with her favourite events being 200 Metres, 100 Metres, Hurdles, Long Jump and Shot Put. His parents donated this trophy in his memory, and each season at White City, the winner of the 100 metre sprint final at Centre Championships is presented with this perpetual trophy, and another trophy for the athlete to retain.
