IHC GRADE VI POSTER MAKING World Health Day is a global health awareness day, celebrated every year on 7th April. In order to commemorate this day, the school, organized a poster making competition. The theme for the competition was WORLD HEALTH DAY. The students indulged in the creative process of poster making. Students used paints,colours, charts, etc. to interpret their views on World Health Day. They came up with many ideas which reflected the spirit of maintaining a healthy body and mind. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition which resulted in vibrant and lively posters. The colours depicted the various emotions artistically.The competition held, not only added points to their houses but also resulted in spreading awareness of healthy life. This competition has laid the foundation for our young, inspired students to metamorphose into Youth for Better Tomorrow.

IHC GRADE VII SLOGAN WRITING World Health Day is a global health awareness day, celebrated every year on 7 th April. In order to commemorate this day, the school, organized a slogan writing competition. A good slogan helps to attract the attention of the people about the topic and a good article enable to produce information to potential audience all across the world. The motive of the event was to make young minds know the importance of health and helping them portray their views creatively. The students participated enthusiastically in large numbers to gain points for their respective house, a sense of competition brought about confidence and motivation to win. The slogan making taught our students different skills like time management as well as creative skills.

IHC ES SHOW & TELL To ignite the inner sparkle and to let the creativity outline their whole creations, the Pre-Primary wing of EurSchool ,Wakad ICSE organized a SHOW AND TELL on 18th of April 2023. The ever vibrant Euroites were given the theme on “Diversified culture and heritage of India” to explore themselves in different possible ways. The glittering array of long-established outfits of diverse states in India made the audience gape at each kid’s charisma, elegance and confidence in expressing what they had come dressed up for. To make the day more memorable. Principal Renuka.Dutta congratulated the young learners for their unmatched performance and expressed that to hold on to one’s cultural roots.

IHC GR II FASHION SHOW The World Heritage Day aims to increase awareness about the importance of preserving cultural heritage for generations in the future. With an aim to inculcate pride in the hearts, we organised a fashion show for Gr II Euro learners. Students came dressed in traditional attire of different Indian states and presented the significance and culture of that state. The learning objective was met as the students enthusiastically participated and enjoyed learning the varied cultures.

EURO SCHOOL WAKAD, ICSE had conducted a PPT Competition on the topic-World Heritage Sites for Grade 7 on 19 th April 2023. All the four houses from each class had to compete among themselves to be the best in line. The students came up with their creativity explored in form of PowerPoint presentation, which left the teachers speechless. It was mesmerizing to watch students presenting their work of excellence. This competition taught our students different skills like time management, creativity,features of MS-PowerPoint and more importantly the students learnt about teamwork.

IHC GR ES PHONICS On the Occasion of ' English Language Day’ a phonics competition was conducted at EuroSchool Wakad ICSE for Pre-primary Euro Senior students. Phonics involves matching the sounds of spoken English with individual letters or groups of letters.Phonics teaches the relationships between the letters of written language and the sounds of spoken language. The little ones brainstormed to figure out the answers in the competitions. It was an enjoyable event with learning outcomes.

IHC GR III ANAGRAM ‘Language does not only increase knowledge but it affects the way one thinks.’ On the occasion of English Language Day, an Inter House Competition was conducted for Grade 3 in Euro School Wakad ICSE. The topic for the competition was “ANAGRAM”. Anagram is a very useful in developing pattern recognition and vocabulary skills and facilitates creative thinking. It provides students with an opportunity to learn by doing, in turn strengthening their learning process. Our learners were thrilled for the first inter house competition of this academic year. It was amazing to witness their language proficiency and vocabulary. This Anagram Competition has definitely exhibited their thoughts and creativity on paper.
