You can get married in NSW in a calendar month as long as you have completed a Notice of Intended Marriage, had it signed by an appropriate witness, and given the paperwork to a celebrant or submitted the paperwork at the registry office. The current requirements to get married, at the date of publication, are: - Download the marriage application - Notice of Intended Marriage - Complete this form and print it out. - Make a copy of each of your identification documents. - Take your NOIM to an authorised witness - a Doctor, Lawyer, Justice of the Peace, or Police Officer & sign it in their presence. (NOTE: A Pharmacist is NOT authorised to witness a Notice of Intended Marriage form) - Email signed and witnessed Notice of Intended Marriage NSW & ID to us.
