HISTORY According to historical, the Wall Region/Colony is area under the Manjung rule of the Straits Settlements. In conjunction with the event, Jajahan Dinding was renamed Iskandar District and Tanah Merah (Lumut) was renamed Port Iskandar. To commemorate the event, Al-Adli Mosque was built (in Lumut Town) to symbolize gratitude for the handover of the Wall Colony to the Perak Government. Until the 1980s, the district was known as the Wall District. On January 1, 1982, the colony formerly known as Dinding was renamed to Manjung District which includes an administrative unit covering Beruas and Sitiawan sub -districts. Before 1973, Manjung District was known as Dindings District. This district was once part of the Straits Settlements which at that time this district was under the administration of Penang. The Dindings district became part of Penang as soon as the Pangkor Agreement was signed by the British with Sultan of Perak, Sultan Abdullah. This public park construction project is fully funded by the National Landscape Department, Ministry of Housing and Local Government where the Manjung Municipal Council acts as the implementing agency.

Dataran Putra is located next to the Lumut Jetty Terminal which is the focus of the public gathering at night. Apart from overlooking the sea, Dataran Putra also has attractive landscape where visitors and public can spend time with their family or peers while enjoying the evening breeze. There is also a group of 'buskers' who perform at Dataran Putra during the night on weekends. Around this square there are also restaurants and bazaars selling clothes, souvenirs and others.

Lumut Jetty Terminal (Jetty Wing) covers an area of 3​ .8 acres which includes a jetty plaza equipped with various facilities such as restaurants, handicraft and seafood stalls, ticket counters, public toilets and operations offices. The multi-storey car park in Lumut is located in the heart of the growing and rapidly developing Lumut City under the administration of Manjung Municipal Council. This field were built for the convenience of users and tourists who come from abroad or within the country to cover the lack of parking in the city of Lumut due to the influx of tourists, especially during the festive holiday seasons. Its location close to the jetty where the tourists do not have to walk too far to reach the jetty. The building has 4 floors where it can accommodate about 900 vehicles. This multi storey car park operates on daily days and public holidays. The fee charged is RM0.60 for the first 1 hour and the following hour. Among the facilities available here is that the Manjung Municipal Council has provided the \"SEASONPASS\" facility or monthly card for users who are interested in applying, especially users who work in Pangkor Island. Here there is also a CCTV control facility that operates for 24 hours that monitors the situation around the parking lot in order to prevent any theft of user vehicles. Teluk Batik was called Teluk Batak in the early of its existence. However on 26th April 1974, the name of Teluk Batak was changed to Teluk Batik. The beach which is located approximately 6.5 kilometers from Lumut Town is an ideal tourist and picnic destination to visit because it has the special facilities needed as an attractive tourist spot. Its long beaches and a backdrop of tropical rainforest captivate anyone who looks. Various facilities are available here such as chalets, food stalls, toilets, changing rooms, parking and children's playground. This beach area is surrounded by the beauty of the lush tropical rainforest in the surrounding hills. The estimated area of Teluk Batik is about 60 square acres while the length of the beach is 1 km. The history of Teluk Batik started with the arrival of the Batak from Sumatra Islands in Indonesia. The story begins when in ancient times pirates and robbers made the waters of the Straits of Malacca where they rob and confiscate trade and belong to the owners of the people who use the Straits of Malacca route. VALE allocates 715 acres of the 1,196 acres of land it owns for preservation. Among the activities that can be done at the centre include educational camps, guided walks, experiments and experiences, bird watching, butterfly and insect studies, ecological activities, walking and beach and river monitoring. There are three main forest trekking trails available at the Center, namely, the Main Trail, Coastal Trail and Waterfall Trail, where people can learn about the environment in a natural setting. The mosque was first built on March 7, 2014 under the supervision of the Pejabat Daerah Manjung. Meanwhile, the calligraphy found in this mosque has been confirmed by the Jabatan Agama Islam and Jabatan Mufti Negeri Perak. The allocation is channeled from the Federal Government through the Unit Penyelarasan Pelaksanaan, Jabatan Perdana Menteri (ICU JPM), Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri Perak dan Pejabat Menteri Besar Perak.

These motifs are taken from the Niu Jie Mosque, flowers in China such as Chinese Peony, Apple Blossom and Plum Blossom.
