CROMSOURCE Disaster Recovery The CROMSOURCE Disaster Recovery popup can be activated and amended when necessary. Activating the Popup Go to Hustle > Pop-ups in the left menu of Wordpress. You will see the Pop-Ups that have been setup already. Click the cog icon next to the Pop-Up named Disaster Recovery pop-up then click ‘Publish’ to make it live on the website (as below). When it has saved the change, it will show the blue Published symbol next to the title as below. When you now look at the site it should show the pop-up until you close it by click the X icon or outside of the white pop-up area (the grey faded area). @!
CROMSOURCE Disaster Recovery Editing the Popup Go to Hustle > Pop-ups in the left menu of Wordpress. Click the ‘EDIT’ button next to the Pop-Up named Disaster Recovery pop-up - you will then see the below screen. You can edit the text of the pop-up here. When finished editing, click either the ‘SAVE DRAFT’ grey button at the top (as below) to save the pop-up as a draft or ‘PUBLISH’ to save and make the pop-up live on the site. If editing the pop-up when it is published on the website, you will see the buttons as to the right. Click ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to save and if you want to stop it being shown on the website, click ‘UNPUBLISH’ to save as a draft. Disabling the Popup Go to Hustle > Pop-ups in the left menu of Wordpress. Click the cog icon next to the Pop-Up named Disaster Recovery pop-up then click ‘Unpublish’ to disable it on the website (as below). It will then say ‘Draft’ next to the title in grey. @!
Activating the ‘Employee’ Page Editing the page The page is set to ‘Password Protected’ this means that once the URL is given out to employees, the employees will then have to enter a password to view the content. The URL to be given out is: www.cromsource.com/employee Once they have entered the URL, they will then be asked for a password, which is: Disaster The password can be changed if necessary through WordPress in the ‘Publish’ area. Adding Downloads You will be able to add relevant downloads to this page. It is worth opening the ‘Media Library’ in another tab so you can toggle between this and the page editing screen. You can open a page in another browser tab by right clicking on the Media tab and then by selecting “Open in new tab” Now that you have the Media Library open in another tab You will need to ‘Add New’ and upload the required file Once the file has uploaded, a new area will appear (as right). Click on the file and open a window as left, where you can copy the url of the uploaded file. Then navigate back to the Employee page. Continued.. @!
Downloads on the ‘Employee’ Page Adding a link to text Select the relevant text (‘CROMSOURCE Disaster Recovery PDF’ for example) and click the link icon in the editor. You can then paste the url of the file in the box as below. Repeat this for other files you want to link the text to. Make sure to save the page by clicking ‘Update’ @!
