LUSAKA, ZAMBIA AFRICA – continued from page 5 7 On the second night of the Campaign, Daniel preached on the Blood of Jesus and broke the power of witchcraft curses. He encouraged people to bring all of their idols, fetishes, charms, amulets or “juju” – especially talismans given to them by witchdoctors – to be burned that night. That is exactly what happened as in Acts 19. As Evangelist Kolenda preached, a witchdoctor came forward with a big white bag full of paraphernalia and placed it in the drums to be burned. It caused quite a stir in the crowd. But that is the kind of interruption we welcome! On Sunday night, the last meeting, the crowd grew to 250,000 people and many miracles took place. On the final night of our meetings, the First Lady of Uganda opened the service by professing her faith in Jesus Christ and encouraging the thousands in attendance to surrender their lives to Him. 11

All throughout Evangelist Kolenda’s message, fifty to sixty foot-tall jets of water moved around the crowd, spraying the people (this was quite ironic, considering we had been praying all week that it wouldn’t rain). Altogether, we saw 1,060,000 attend the Ghana Gospel Campaign, and 583,480 decision cards were registered! We are rejoicing with Heaven over the many lives that were changed for eternity.
