PEACE OR HAPPINESS? Would you rather choose a path like a tan curve or step off the thrilling roller coaster for a permanent state of joy? should we aim for peace or happiness? Okay, if I were to answer this question, I'll say happiness is momen- tary and it is dependent on external activities. On the other hand, peace is an everlasting state of mind and heart that comes from us. A good laugh will later become painful if you cannot control it. Happiness demands manifestation but peace is a quiet, internal feeling and strength. In my point of view, the difference between the two is that happiness is a state of being satisfied for a short period of time whereas peace is a sensation of fulfillment. But both are interlinked. As I said already, happiness depends on external activities, but peace can only be achieved when you depend on yourself and look deeper inside yourself, and believe in yourself. If a situation happens to choose between happiness and peace, I'll surely choose peace because it would give happiness. “You have peace when you make it with yourself.” 05

THE RED MOON NIGHT EPISODE 6 PRESENT A lone tear escaped from his eyes. He wants Jane again in his life. He was determined to meet her. Jezebel restricted him from seeing her. She taught Silas the tricks and thoroughly groomed him to live life as a human. Silas learned the magic from Jezebel so he can save himself if there is any danger. Jezebel made spells on Silas so that even animals won't find out about his real nature. Silas can stay invisible, shapeshift, and obviously, he can fly. There is no one who can defeat him. He is fast, sharp, and strong. And he is unbelievably handsome. One could fall for him even without him trying. But his heart is entitled to Shira. She was the only girl who was brave enough to stand in front of Silas. She had something in her which made him hooked in love with her even after an eternity. Within these 2 years of constant learning and communication with people, Silas made lots of friends and he arranged everything to meet Shira without any trouble with identity. Shira is now studying in college. She is a beauty with brains. There are always people around her. Her aura is so pleasant. She loves to know about people's lives and study their charac- ter. She is full of curiosity and so full of life. Silas was thoroughly set for his entry into Shira's life. He made himself as a student in the same college where Shira is studying. After 15 days of leave, Shira was now all set for her second year in college. When she reached her class she stood before the door outside to calm herself down before getting inside. She picked up a little water bottle from her satchel and started drinking looking at the window opposite to her which was inside the classroom. But suddenly she saw Silas out of focus when she was focussing on the window behind him. Her hands with the water bottle slowly moved and her head straightened. Her eyes focused on his back from the window. She could see a tall boy, his hair was prime and proper. Since he was turning on the other side she badly wanted to see his face. She didn't know why her face burnt when another girl touched him from the back. She doesn't even know him. He turned toward that girl and smiled at her innocently. She gasped when she saw his face properly. Her heart fluttered its wings. suddenly she had goosebumps all over. She has never seen a person like him before. She didn't take her eyes off him until her friends noticed that she was being stunned by something. They came and stood near her looking at Silas. She didn't realize they are now standing with her and seeing what she is seeing. She is over the moon. It seemed like her world became pink. Silas came outside. Everyone straightened and looked at him. He met with everyone's eyes but not Shira's. She frowned at his back for not seeing her. Silas avoided making eye contact with her throughout the week. He made her possessive every day. Shira's friends loved him and everyone became friends with him. Shira always stays alone when they're talking with him. Two weeks went by when Shira found herself deeply falling for him. She was struggling with herself but was curious about getting to know him. She is always used to the attention but here it is different. She is hoping at least once he should meet her eyes. They had a lab class that day. Shira was perplexed when she saw every single person in that room was reaching out to get help from Silas to complete the experiment. Shira is the one who helped all these people in the first year. Now, people are buzzing around him like bees. She finally gave up and finished her experiment before everyone and left the lab. No one noticed her going out except his sharp ears. Silas had already every single detail about her. He knows her strengths and her weak points, her likes and dislikes. He became the encyclopedia of Shira. Silas too left the lab. Silas entered the classroom. She was closing her eyes and hear- ing a song with the blasting volume. 12
He wanted to fondle her charismatic face. His cheeks lifted up when he smiled seeing her. It is his Jane. He didn't come to terms with his Jane being Shira. But it's her. He sat on the desk opposite to her bench closer to her. He could do whatever he wanted now if he hypnotized. For that, she should open her eyes. Like she read his thoughts she opened her eyes. She squinted her eyes for she couldn't see him due to the glare of the sun which created a halo behind him. She moved behind to adjust to the bright light of the sun. He watched her movements keenly and was lost in her. The few strands of her hair that covered the side of her face, the chocolate irises whose golden flakes made him swim in the sweetness of them. Her pink tinted lips which parted and closed, and her cheeks which lifted at the sight of him. He loves every part of her. If you ask him why Shira, Silas has a very simple answer. It's because she is Shira. She saw him and their eyes met each other after a millennium and no wonder they could feel the spark between them. She couldn't hold his stare for too long as it was becoming too familiar for her to the level where the air grew thick and silence prevailed. She started feeling chills for no reason and started rubbing her hands together for some warmth. Noticing this action of her, Silas removed his jacket and proceeded to wrap it around her. The moment he brushed her shoulder, there was great electricity which passed through them and suddenly the power was cut off. The whole city had this sudden power shut down for no reason. The slight brush of their skin created this synergy. Shocked, they looked at each other, and Silas could see her golden brown eyes glowing in the dark and leaned forward to kiss her temple. Shira had her pupils wide when she saw his black eyes turn electric blue in the dark, amazed she got lost in his eyes while she felt him move forward. Her instinct told her to stay instead of moving backward. She stayed and closed her eyes when she felt his breath on her forehead. She felt initial tingles when his lips touched her. Getting lost in the moment, she forgot where she was. When she opened her eyes, she was horrified to see herself covered in blood lying in front of her, which was Jane. She looked around and tried crying for help but all in vain. Suddenly, she started moving from one unknown place to another and got to relive the life of Jane. Know- ing that she is the reincarnation of Jane and Silas had waited long to meet her, she had tears in her eyes. She wiped her eyes and thought of the icy blue eyes which had kissed her. She closed her eyes and a foreign yet familiar warmth engulfed her. She opened her eyes to find herself in the class with Silas' jacket around her. She woke up to find Silas sleeping peacefully beside her and she burst out into tears finding him alive. Not able to control her love for him, she kissed him in his sleep. Need not tell, Silas waited years to wake up like this. And according to him, that was the best good morning in his entire lifetime. And, whether to enjoy such best mornings lies in their destiny and that destiny lies in the hands of Jezebel. Will Jezebel put them together? 13
