Box 4000 Click on “Departments”, WHA School across from the Walker, MN 56484 “Community Education” and “Click Elementary Gym Here to Register” Registration: Registration is based on a first come, first registered (paid) basis. Class sizes are limited, so register early. You are NOT registered for a class until the fee is paid. Register online, https://wha.cr3.rschooltoday.com/ public/home or by calling 218-547-4360. You may also register at the Community Education Office, located across from the Elementary School Gymnasium. Mail in registrations are also permitted but do not hold a spot until received. Upon registration for a class you should receive an email confirmation. We make our best effort to com- municate via email to remind registrants of classes or to give further details or directions a day or two prior to a class; however, if you do not hear from us, assume the class is meeting as scheduled. Refunds: All fees will be refunded if a class is cancelled or if it is filled before your registration is received. If you have registered and have to withdraw, you must do so five days prior to the first day of class to get a refund. Cancellations: If there are not enough students registered for a class you have paid for, the class will be cancelled. You will be notified and your fee will be refunded. Early Childhood Family Education Fall ECFE: October 2-December 8, 2023 ECFE is a State regulated program and is required by law to follow specific guidelines in its implementation of programming. General ECFE Information Arrival and Departure: Prompt arrival and departure is requested. Attendance: As a courtesy to our staff, please call if you are unable to attend class. Art Expression: Most of our activities are considered art. Let your child do it for themselves, they have a special pride in their accomplishments. Aprons are available for messy projects. Dress: To help you child feel free to participate fully in all activities, we suggest that you dress your child in comfortable, washable play clothes. We do take precautions, but some activities may be messy. ECFE Closing: ECFE is closed for all WHA School District #113 school holidays and breaks. In the case of severe weather; please listen to the local radio and TV channels for school closings. Health Policy: At ECFE we follow the school’s health policy. Please respect the health of other families and staff by staying home if you have symptoms. The policy includes: • A fever of 100 degrees or more within the last 24 hours. • Diarrhea/vomiting-keep your child home for 24 hours after last episode. Cell Phones: Please turn your cell phone off or to vibrate. Ringing cell phones do disrupt our class and takes away from your child. 5

Step by step instruction is given so School Art Room no experience is necessary! Each student will make a 4 Description: This is a class foot wood porch sign that they will paint/stencil with acryl- that anyone can do! You will ic paints using pre-cut stencils. Students can choose learn 2 simple knots, that’s their own colors. Lily, the instructor, will bring stencils for it! You will go home with this adorable mini plant all seasons for students to hanger perfect for succulents, cactus or even a choose from. Students should fake plant if you’re not good at keeping things bring paper towels and a paint alive! These are great for your home and also to shirt. If a student would like to give as gifts! Driver’s Education Join us for a round trip to Chicago traveling Amtrak! Facility Use Are you looking for a space to host an event? Do you need a classroom to teach a course? ISD #113 School Properties Facility Use Policy Independent School District 113 believes that schools are an integral part of the community. Pursuant to MN State Statute 123B.52 and MN School Board Association Policy #902, it is the policy of the District to make school facilities available for use by the general public. The Dis- trict has established rules and regulations for the use of its facilities. The policy is administered through the Community Education Depart- ment. All users are required to make their requests to the Community Education office at 218-547-4360 or online at http://www.wha.k12.mn.us/facility-usage-rental-55455b82. Fees associated with use of the school facility vary and can be dis- cussed upon request in the Community Education office. An applica- tion must be filled out and approved at least 10 days prior to the scheduled use. **Groups using the school kitchen must hire a regular ISD 113 kitchen employee to be on site during the scheduled facility use.
