家庭灵修 2022-06-05 爱的成长步骤 经文：帖撒罗尼迦前书 1:3; 4:9-10 爱有三个成长的步骤。我们强烈的爱:“ 因爱心所受的劳苦”(帖前 1:3)。我们宽阔的爱:“ 你们向马其顿 全地的众弟兄，固然是这样行”(帖前 4:10)。我们渐渐扩大的爱:“ 要更加勉励（多做这事）”(帖前 4:10)。 有一对基督徒夫妇膝下有一个特殊需要的儿子，他的情况因其他心理和精神健康问题而加重。每天 照顾儿子对他们来说都是非常具挑战性和耗损精神的。他们不得不面对一个残酷的现实: 他们儿子的 未来。至少在目前，就经济价值而言，他们儿子的前途是非常暗淡的。但是我们生活在这个世界， 无疑是从经济的角度来评价每一个人。不论你喜不喜欢，我们就活在这样现实的世界。然而，这并 不意味着我们必须遵循这世界的法则。相反的，作为耶稣的门徒，我们生活在这世界就要反主流文 化，而这并不容易。 当这对夫妇为儿子的未来思前想后，也想到了最坏的情况: 他将一事无成。在养育儿子的艰辛历程 中，这对夫妇学会了无条件地爱他。一天，他们有了这样的反思:“神让我们有这样的儿子，目的只 有一个，就是爱他，或许这是唯一的目的? 如果是这样的话，那么我们的儿子就没有最坏的情况了!” 有一天，这对夫妇的儿子对他们说:“爸爸妈妈，谢谢你们像神一样爱我。” 默想 关于帖撒罗尼迦人当中所见的爱，你有什么重要的观察? 应用 我在哪些方面发现生活中缺少爱？我该怎么做? 祷告 反思如何实践以上的经文，再把你回应神的祷告写下。 祷告事项 赞美和感恩；为万国祷告：在基督徒彼此相爱中看到基督；为有需要的祷告；为自己祷告 诗歌 袮的爱长阔高深 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPMVaoWkMr8 Family Devotion 2022-06-05 The Growth Movements of Love SCRIPTURE 1 Thessalonians 1:3; 4:9-10 LOVE HAS THREE GROWTH MOVEMENTS. WE LOVE intensively: “labour of love” (v.3). We love extensively: “you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia” (1 Thess 4:10). We love progressively: “do this more and more” (1 Thess 4:10). There is a Christian couple who has a special needs son, whose condition is compounded by other psychological and mental health problems. It has been very challenging and emotionally draining on a daily basis for them to parent their son. And there came a time when they had to face a hard reality: the future of their son. At least at the present moment, in terms of economic value, their son’s future is very bleak. But the world we live in values people in economic terms. Like it or not, this is the world we live in. However, this does not mean we have to conform to it. On the contrary, as disciples of Jesus, we are to live in this world counterculturally, which is not easy. As this couple pondered upon their son’s future, they thought of the worst-case scenario: He will become a bum. This couple has learned to love their son unconditionally through the difficult journey of parenting him. One day, they had this reflection: “What if God’s one and only one purpose for us to have such a son is to just love him and nothing else? If that is the case, then there is no worst-case scenario for our son!” One day, this couple’s son said to them, “Papa and Mama, thank you for loving me as God would.” OBSERVATION What significant observations can you make about love as seen in the Thessalonians? APPLICATION In what ways do I find love wanting in my life and what will I do about it? PRAYER Write a prayer to God as your response from your meditation on and application of the Scriptures.
