Addition Find Me', Math activity was conducted for Grade 4 -5students on the concept of Addition of 5- Digit and 6-digit numbers. Addition is done to find the total value of two or more addends. Students were formed into groups of 4 -5 students. With this task, students were able to engage themselves in conversation with partners to develop confidence and understand the concept better. This activity was done outside the classroom to avoid monotonous learning and to learn while doing.
सब नाम ों की एक है जान : पहचानें और जानंे संोज्ञा श्रीमान संज्ञा - नाम तो सुना ही होगा पर संज्ञा के भेदों को नन्हे ससतारों द्वारा अद् भुत रचनात्मक मॉडल द्वारा प्रस्तुतीकरण, यह एक नवाचार सिक्षण िैली का सुन्दर नमूना है। हमारे कक्षा ६ के सवद्यासथियों ने न के वल मॉडल के द्वारा इस सवषय को प्रदसिित सकया बल्कि अपनी कल्पना िल्कि से इस सवषय पर सिसक्षका की मदद से कक्षा के समक्ष प्रस्तुत भी सकया।
विज्ञापन की दुवनया सवज्ञापन एक ऐसा माध्यम है सिसके द्वारा हम सकसी सामग्री या व्यल्कि सविेष के प्रसत िनसामान्य को आकसषित करने का प्रयास करते हंै।आि सवज्ञापन हमारे िीवन की सदनचयाि का एक िरूरी अंग बन गया है। कक्षा १० के सवद्यासथियों नेअपनी अद् भुत रचनात्मक लेखन िैली का पररचय दे ते हुए सवसभन्न सवज्ञापन तैयार सकए। बच्ों ने अपने मनपसंद सवषय का चुनाव कर उसे अपनी कल्पना िल्कि मंे सपरोकर सबको अचंसभत करसदया।
The Comic Creativity Comics are a creative form of writing which helps us express our ideas and imagination through visual format. Comics express satire, symbolism, point of view, drama, puns and humor in ways not possible with text alone. Students of grade 9 had an opportunity to express their imaginative thoughts on what they would do if they were in a mysterious land with unique creatures. The students did a spectacular job. They created vivid comic strips which were not only eye-catching but also had amazing plots. Through this activity the students got a chance to test and discover their skills such as imagination, creativity and artistic skills. Students also learned to express one’s point of view in writing skills. The comic – makers enjoyed the process and said that they had a wonderful chance to put their thoughts on a piece of paper. The teachers were fascinated and happy to see the student’s creative comics. Overall, the students and teachers enjoyed the process and the amazing comics were applaudable by all.
Let’s start our day healthy… “Learning how to cook for yourself is a beautiful expression of self-care….”Sprouts form a very important part in our daily diet. It keeps us energetic, fresh, healthy and full. To explain and experience the same, students of grade 5 had ‘’salad making activity’’. Students were very excited with the idea of making salad in school. The students came out with creative ideas and actively participated in the activity.
Evolution of Mankind Individual activity - cave painting Children of Grade 5 enjoyed and understood how Evolution of man took place. Through this activity, students were told to pretend themselves belonging to ancient times and to create a cave wall using different materials. Children were assigned this activity to be done as Home Connect which gave them an opportunity to portray their creative skills. Through this activity, they integrated Social with Art and Craft. They also witnessed a collaboration of the subjects.
The four stone ages Group Activity - Poster making and Role play on the different stone ages. Children of Grade 5 enjoyed and understood about the lifestyle, tools and innovations of the Four stone Ages. These activities gave them an opportunity to feel connected and relate themselves to different stone ages which led them for better understanding of concepts. Through this activity, they integrated Social with Art and Craft. They also witnessed a collaboration of the subjects.
National reading day activity National Reading Day is celebrated to honour the father of the 'Library Movement in Kerala', the late PN Panicker, whose death anniversary is on June 19.Euro School North Campus held Reading day activities for Grade1 to 5 , which include Story telling, Read aloud a story , Character sketching, Bookmark making and Slogan writing. The purpose of celebrating National Reading Day is to spread awareness to the students about the importance of reading & promote a culture of reading among students and encourage literary reflection on students , youth, and the country’s poorest population. In addition, the main goal is to make young people aware of the various books and spread the message of ‘Read and Grow.’
Find Me 'Find Me', Math activity was conducted for Grade 3 students on the concept of Rounding Off to nearest 10. 4 digit numbers were given to each child and told to identify nearest 10. With this task, students were able to engage themselves in conversation with partners to develop confidence and understand the concept better. This interactive math lesson gives students the opportunity to practice rounding numbers to the nearest ten. The students will round numbers up to 99. Students are given a limited amount of hints in this rounding math activity. The hints remind students to look at the ones place. If the number is five or more, round up. If the number is less than five, round down.
