Growing up at 61 Today marks a momentous event in PAREB history. Today is a special day as PAREB’s newest baby has finally decided to come out with pomp and breaks its reticence, even amidst the pandemic. And just like a real baby, PAREB Media needs to be nurtured, as it finds its way in the real estate world particularly within the PAREB circle of influence and among big media partners. Today, PAREB adds not only a year to its life, but it adds life to all its years. We are confident that this baby will grow up to accomplish the vision and mission that it has set upon itself and make the PAREB brand more widely circulated and known. Good communication is just as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after. 2 Anne Morrow Lindberg

The pandemic taught us a few lessons: that: 1. There is opportunity amidst challenges; We need to embrace change and technology to align our business targeting the “NEEDS’ of the consumers. Hence, our MLS and Project Selling Committees have embarked on innovative projects that are tactical in approach to make it easier for members to lock on to sale such as: (Pareb Viber Bots, Strategic partnerships with developers, etc. 2. Communities need to support one another in business and be self sufficient. 4

Vice-President for North Luzon Message H appy PAREB! for Congratulations to all local boards supporting our PAREB 61st Anniversary. We will make it. Let us inspire one another. I am a witness of ordinary people despite their meager means and struggling with their own lives helping other people. I am honored to be a part of history where our whole nation is experiencing community pantry in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Lending a hand to our fellow human beings is an act of selflessness to others just to make ends meet. A couple of eggs and two canned sardines would indeed make ends meet for some. I salute the frontliners risking thIeNirTHoISwISnSUElives for the sake of others. I salute AntnhiveersadryoHicghtloighrtss , nurses, medical practitioners, armed forces, drivers, janitors, and other frontliners for being there at the critical moment where it is real8ly needed.

cont. - VP’s Message I salute the doctors, nurses, and other medical practitioners in the Visayas who volunteereed to lend a hand to exhausted doctors, nurses and others in the National Capital Region. When the medical practitioners from the Visayas experienced similar exhaustion in their local area, nearby medical practitioners lend a hand to them. Indeed, it was an instance of paying it forward.. I salute a taho vendor in Bulacan who scooped his taho, who thought of selling his cups of taho to a community pantry, but decided, instead, to give it for FREE. I almost cried over this taho vendor for his act of selflessness. This small act of kindness is a tipping point. In the book, “The Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell, he explains how little things can make a big difference. It inspres others. It moves others. We are in a tipping point. DespiteIN ToHuISrISmSUEeager means and despite our own struggAlennsiveirnsaroy Huigrhloighwts n lives, we become selfless. Helping others at the critical moment where it is really needed is a miracle to some. 9

cont. - VP’s Message Saving lives is a miracle. Helping exhausted medical practioners is a miracle. A taho vendor giving free taho cups to community pantry is a miracle. In fact we know taho vendors themselves are struggling in their own lives and yet they acted selflessly. Indeed, we are honored to be a part of history. Stay safe. God bless. .LOUIE T. REYES PAREB Vice- President for North Luzon 10

Sec. Gen’s Message It is very important that we, members of PAREB do celebrate our 61st anniversary. It is a way to recognize the efforts of its founding members and its descendant members. I warmly congratulate PAREB on its anniversary today, especially the current set of its National Directors and Officers including the Secretariat and the Local Board Directors , officers and members as well. Long live PAREB! IN THIS ISSUE Anniversary Highlights ROBERTO C. DE LOS REYES PAREB Secretary General 11

Message from the Greetings! It is with so much pride to accept the challenge of being at the helm of the newest baby of the first and largest real estate organization in the country. Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards (PAREB) Inc. is more than delighted to introduce a newly created committee, aptly, called PAREB MEDIA. PAREB MEDIA is, indeed, a dream come true. Composed of brilliant and committed people, this team will fulfill the longtime dream of the organization to effectively and promptly inform, and reach out to all its members all over the country keeping us abreast of what is happening within the organization and in the industry, that will help us hone our abilities to improve our practice. On the other hand, there is also a perceived need for the organization to step out of its confines and open a wider portal of disseminating information to the public at large, about the things they need to know of PAREB, and for PAREB to be at the forefront of the current national issues of prime interest affecting all stake holders in the real estate profession. PAREB MEDIA will turn these dreams and dINesTiHreISsIiSnStUoE reality, thus, enhancing the PAREB BRAND. Anniversary Highlights KUDOS and CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!
