หลักการใช้ Present Simple Tense Present Simple Tense หรอื ปัจจุบนั กาลธรรมดา ใช้กับการกระทาท่ีเกดิ ข้ึนเป็นประจา(repeated) เป็นนสิ ยั (habit) ข้อเทจ็ จริง (fact) ประเพณี (Customs) หรอื ความรู้สกึ (feeling)มีวธิ กี ารใชด้ งั ต่อไปน้ี 1. ใช้กับเหตกุ ารณ์ทเี่ กดิ ขึ้น ตามความจริงของธรรมชาติ (Natural facts) เชน่ The earth moves round the sun. It’s cold in winter. Fish swim in the water. Fire is hot. Ice is cold. 2. ใชก้ บั เหตุการณท์ ่ีเปน็ ประเพณี นิสยั คาสุภาษติ คาพังเพย สุนทรพจน์ ซงึ่ มิไดเ้ จาะจงว่ชว่ งเวลาใด เชน่ Women are dressed all in black when going to the funeral.
